Much better places nearby, turned up at 8.40am for a MOT he refused the vehicle saying its late. knowing full well he won't look at it until 12. called our fleet team and they were livid and tried to call the garage and he wouldn't answer, I wonder why?. Complaint has been made with higher ups in Halfords and rebooked for a small independent garage.

Efficient booking service, great staff. BUT they had obviously been told to hard sell a fuel/oil frittering service. Halfords - stop forcing your staff into some hard sell BS.

Easy booking, friendly and efficient staff. One star knocked off for no coffee machine - the nearest place to grab a tea or coffee is a 1.8km walk from the workshop.

Went over there 2 months ago for brakes check after 2 hours I revived a call that front disks and pads need to be changed 360£
I payed, picked up car and 2 min later on motorway smoke front both tyres and brakes just full on with no reason.
Call auto centre explain the issue after another examination they decide that callipers are old and this is the issue and they want to charge me extra 400£
Not recommend that place
Go anywhere else but not to that ?barn?

Had an MOT at Chichester Halfords autocentre last year and sounds like I had a similar experience to others. They failed the front brakes which I was sure were fine and also tyres. When we got the report back the old tyres were not as worn as he'd said on the phone so he lied. Also the verbal tactic of not distinguishing between major and minor defects was underhand and clearly a tactic to make us think that everything had to be done to pass the MOT. It's only when I stopped him and asked directly did he admit that we only had a couple of majors.
I think this garage is fundamentally dishonest and will do everything possible to try and make you undertake work that isn't needed. Would highly recommend going elsewhere.

Took my car here for an MOT. Results came back with £400 worth of repairs, with my brakes essentially ?broken? and excessively binding. Outsourced multiple other opinions and garages which all came back and confirmed that my brakes were in tact and far from broken. Had my MOT passed at another garage with only having bulbs as repairs needed. Unfortunately I wouldn?t recommend.
