When foreigners complain about English food, I always feel their comments are slightly misaligned with how much english food and service have improved the last 20 years, until you eat in a place like this.
Coffee good, pizza sad and sandwiches straight from the 1980s and bloody expensive! If it wasn't located next to a beautiful park, it would close in a month.

We had a lovely time at this cosy, family-run cafe. Brilliant food and friendly service in a wonderful location.

Male member of staff (possibly the owner) was extremely rude and aggressive in front of a group of young children, shouting at customers and squaring up to them, really poor.
At least the woman there was reasonable and tried to apologise for his behaviour (while he was still hurling abuse). Felt quite sorry for her.
Needless to say we cancelled our order and walked 5 minutes to Boston Tea Party in town and had a lovely time.
