Came in on 16th July, expecting good quality food for the prices id paid. The breakfast was overpriced and really poor quality. The eggs were awful and bacon was almost charred. Staff looked like they didn?t want to be there and wouldn?t go back tbh not worth it

If you want posh nosh go to the ivy. If you want value for money, good food (locally sourced) great service and a smile, Crispins is the place for you.

Overpriced and nothing special - sadly.
Chichester seems a generally over priced place. I was pretty shocked to pay £7.50 for an egg mayo sandwich. I expected it would be really good but it was very average.
The woman who brought the food out to us was friendly.
I wish them well, but I won't be going back.

Always a lovely welcome . Staff are attentive and very pleasant.
The food is yummy and flexible eg poached egg instead of fried etc .

Had lovely breakfast, turned up quick. Well presented and cooked well. Super tasty sausages.
Pots of tea. Cafe beautifully decorated, attention to detail in the cafe. Clean cafe and toilets.
Friendly chatty staff, welcoming too. No parking outside, but 3 mins walk from cattle market carpark. Would recommend.

For years Crispins was our ?go to? cafe when we visited Chichester so having not been for a long time thought we would see if it was still as good as we remembered. It appeared to have changed hands and sadly the food quality was very poor! We ordered a prawn sandwich and a chicken and avocado sandwich / the chicken was dark brown and appeared processed and the bread was not fresh / likewise mine contained mashed prawns with tasteless sauce and again stale bread. The side salad was stale lettuce, one piece of dried cucumber and one piece of hard tomato! Our drinks were fine and service ok but my husband was ill that night and attributed it to his chicken!
We will not be visiting again.

Crispins Cafe is a great find in Chichester. The freshly cooked is always really good - highly recommend their all day veggie breakfast, their amazing omelettes, their yummy cakes....and beautifully presented coffees.....look at these cappuccinos!
Staff are always lovely, place is spotless, prices good. Go next time you're in Chi !

First time visiting today (15/1/25) for lunch. Fantastic menu choice and great food. Service is fast and friendly. Lots of seating choices and a bonus garden area for when it warms up. Will definitely be back soon.

It doesn't look anything from the outside, but the food is great and there is a larger menu than many of the other cafes. Breakfast items and brunch snacks are available all day, alongside full lunchtime meals. Service is prompt and always with a smile. Tables are always cleared and clean. Food orders are placed at the front desk. Always nice. A popular very well run cafe.

Recent experience at this cafe was not very good, kids food is very overpriced for what you get and not very nice the ham was extremely salty, too much margarine very overpowering and only the equivalent of half a sandwich is what you get for £6.95 this was very disappointing and not child friendly. Crispins club sandwich was very cold as if it was pulled straight from a fridge and the drinks service was very average again overpriced. All in all bad experience, as a local resident I won't be returning.
As I can't reply to a response from my review I have added it on here. Thank you crispins for your reply, I fully disagree with my review being unfair as this was the experience I had when visiting lately and this is my own personal opinion on the service and food i received, id say it is very unfair you stating i gave an unfair review, im sorry it couldn't be a positive one I am just being fully honest! Reviews are there to add experiences! I did refer to the menu when I visited before placing my order and it will be added with this review and as you can see it doesn't actually state the chicken and egg being cold and you so kindly outlined it did state! if anything it stated the chicken being grilled wihich would incline it being freshly cooked under a grill! Therefore i would probably ask you to review your menu instead of assuming I hadn't as a customer already done so myself before ordering.

Fantastic full cooked breakfast today (27/12/24).
Great owner and staff, but best of all great quality locally sourced produce. I would highly recommend the full breakfast!
