Visited this store on Tuesday and had a fantastic customer experience.I went in for a waterproof walking jacket. The staff were knowledgeable and took their time to explain the different options available. At no point did I feel rushed or pushed to purchase a more expensive brand.There is an excellent selection of clothing, footwear and accessories available.I would recommend this store and will certainly return.Accessibility:I am in a wheelchair and there is a small step to the entrance, but they have a ramp and are more than happy to come out and help me in any way necessary.The store is large and airy, with wide aisles and ample space to move around.

My husband & I are walking the South West Coastal Path 630 miles and we popped in to just look at the footwear. The male sales assistant (unfortunately we didn?t get his name) was so knowledgeable about all the products available. He measured our feet & we realised we have both been buying the wrong size for years! We tried so many pairs on and both left with the most perfect, comfortable hiking shoes plus a pair of insoles each. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The lady on the til was lovely too! I will be buying from this shop for the rest of our items for sure! Thank you all at Chichester Cotswold Outdoor x

The shop was empty bar 3 members of staff chatting, standing idly by the counter. I went in to buy walking boots. The two females were talking about pregnancy; the only male glared at me but said nothing as I walked past, towards the boots at the end of the shop. I reached the (large) display of boots. I had no real idea of what I needed but I figured someone would come down and see what I wanted. No one did. After several minutes I walked back. No change.

I spent two hours in the store this afternoon and both members of staff who served me were extremely helpful: knowledgeable about the products and very patient. After trying on numerous boots, adjusting for orthotics etc I ended up buying a pair of walking boots and a pair of walking shoes.

Popped in to the store today on my lunch break as needed some new shoes for outdoor activities/manual work and was greeted by a member of staff who was brilliant at finding the right type and size of shoes.Very polite and helpful staff, plentiful stock of everything in store - would highly recommend this place to anyone needing any clothing relating especially to outdoor pursuits.

The Chichester store is great. Knowledgeable and professional staff, good stock and a friendly atmosphere. It's easy to park in the local car parks. I popped in on a Saturday morning no hassle at all.

Went in to have a quick look at walking boots and was greeted by Ari (apologies if the spelling is wrong). He was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable meaning I felt assured the three pairs of boots I tried on were fit for my hiking goals. I came away with the perfect pair of walking boots as well as some extra knowledge as to how to wear and look after them. Thank you so much Ari, will be recommending my hiking friends to make the journey to Chichester purely for your expert help!
