I would like to thank Debbie for her kind ways and patience yesterday. I have been going to St Richards for a range of appointments, it has been a worrying time. Quietly I have been going to Costa for some respite afterwards. Yesterday was not a good day for me, I couldn't get my words out, my speech was slurred, I couldn't load the app, I couldn't focus on my name let alone my pin number for payment. She was truly lovely, my drink was delicious, nothing was too much trouble to her as we stumbled through my order. I just want to say thankyou. You made me feel welcome and assured me I wasn't any trouble. I got more than a cup of coffee there, I had an extra portion of kindness and tolerance from lady who made such a difference to an otherwise bad day. Bless you for being so lovely. The other two members of staff were fun and upbeat. They work well as a team and have a great rapport with customers. The coffee area was clean and clear from previous orders. This branch of Costa stands out in terms of friendly service, cleanliness, and a calming ambience.

Considering this is in a hospital they don't cater for allergies at all. I have a gluten and diary allergy, they didnt have any gluten free sandwiches let alone diary. There was no salads or any alternatives. The only thing I could eat was an overpriced small flapjack in a packet and a bag of crisps not very impressed

Visited the St Richard?s hospital Costa after an appointment and was served by the lovely Kat, I asked her opinion on their new seasonal drinks and she recommended I tried the cinnamon bun iced latte and that I had a cinnamon bun alongside it and it was super! A much needed pick me up with excellent customer service. A great face for the company.

I was given my panini in a cardboard container. When I asked for a plate, because the contents was leaking, I was greeted by a dismissive attitude by the staff saying ?pardon? again I asked for a plate. I pointed to the the clean plates and was told it?s takeaway only.
I certainly won?t come back again. Customer service was nonexistent, rude and disrespectful.

I was absolutely amazed when I arrived at Costa in St.Richards at how busy it was (I am guessing due to hospital staff and patients) but was more amazed by the way the team working flowed and went through orders of around u people in front of me si fast. I was especially impressed with a young lady working there who's badge name said Lucy as she seemed to just have her head on her shoulders managing mulitorders and a couple of difficult customers but all with politeness and a smile. This is how amd by whom I would always liked to be served my morning coffee. Bob

Lovely staff members. Extremely helpful. Definitely on the up. Is busy but it is a hospital with the only open cafe for food and drinks. Lovely experience

Overall, the store itself was really nice, The only thing that let the branch down was the fact that the company itself hasn't seemed to train their colleagues to make the new drinks.However with a bit of patience we managed to get through it, did they make my drinks wrong - yes however the overall products where really nice even with the wrong drinks ?.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding the service I received at Costa Coffee located at St. Richards Hospital earlier today. This experience has left me feeling deeply upset and disillusioned.Today was meant to be a special day for my wife and me, as we were scheduled to attend a health scan for our first baby, where we were eagerly anticipating the gender reveal. In preparation for the scan, I decided to purchase a coffee for my wife to help with her comfort during the procedure.Upon entering the Costa Coffee establishment, I patiently waited in line behind another customer who was placing their order. However, after they received their coffee and departed, I was blatantly ignored by the staff member behind the counter. Despite my presence and clear intention to place an order, I was disregarded in favor of serving other customers who arrived after me.After a few minutes of being overlooked, I attempted to gain the attention of the staff member, only to be met with indifference. It was only after I vocalized my frustration that a staff member named Shannon reluctantly took my order, displaying a complete lack of courtesy or apology for the earlier oversight.Feeling perplexed and disheartened by the treatment I received, I proceeded to question the staff about the reason for their behavior. Instead of providing a reasonable explanation, I was met with further rudeness and hostility, with one staff member even suggesting that my order be rejected altogether.The lack of accountability and professionalism exhibited by the Costa Coffee staff was truly appalling. Not only did they fail to acknowledge their mistake, but they also demonstrated a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and basic courtesy. When I inquired about the procedure for lodging a formal complaint, I was met with dismissiveness and discourtesy, further compounding my distress.I am reaching out to you in the hopes that this matter can be addressed and resolved in a fair and timely manner. I kindly request a thorough investigation into this incident and appropriate action taken to ensure that such unprofessional conduct is not repeated in the future. Additionally, I would appreciate your guidance on how to escalate this matter further if necessary.
