I was really let down by specsavers Chichester after weeks of being let down, i decided to go to Boots opticians, well I get a phone call this morning saying my glasses have arrived early, however they forgot to put the transition lenses in , im light sensitive so that is absolutely no good to me , the only thing they could offer is a refund or waiting another 2 weeks for another pair to be made , we'll iv already gone nearly 2 months walking around with blurry vision almost getting run over and walking into things, I can't read or see the TV, you would of thought they would of done a good job considering i came from another opticians that mucked them up. Also the fella that was dealing with me was very condescending with a smile on his face.

I am a contact lens user on Boots scheme, so when I got something in my eye, after three days of discomfort I called into Boots Chichester to see if someone could take a look for me. Very professional reception, but not very flexible to my needs. It was going to take 3 minutes to have a look, maybe 5, but I was told we had to book an appointment at 12:30, which meant I had paid for parking and driven 8miles each way, to have to return 90 minutes later for 12:30.
To me, that is not providing customer service, but just a machine with a front.

Pleasant atmosphere in the store. Staff approachable and knowledgeable. It is possible to get a good deal by studying the offers and playing the game.
