Today was the last straw.
In the past 5 years, they have left me and my partner waiting for our food on valentines night because they forgot about us, we had to remind the waitress. Then me and my partner went in to ask for a table at lunch time on a weekday. They claimed it would be a 45 minute wait when they were practically empty. After this I had washed my hands with them but my grandparents wanted to go and the waitress was incredibly rude to my elderly grandmother who was just asking questions about splitting the bill and after my grandnother tried to give her a 20% tip she took it and walked away rolling her eyes! And she was talking about our table loudly to a colleague!!! After this I was incredibly angry but it had been a couple of years by today and my mother wanted to go for mothersday. I booked yesterday and got a confirmation email, then just an hour ago I got an email saying my booking was cancelled, 2 hours before we were supposed to get there!! Tried to call them twice and no answer, leaving us with only a couple of hours to find another restaurant on mothersday. Absolutely appalling and will be taken to head office.

This is the second time I have ordered from Ask Italian via Deliveroo, and the second time they have delivered a meat-filled calzone rather than the vegetarian goat's cheese calzone I ordered.
Both times, I have tried to call the restaurant and haven't been able to get through, despite calling multiple times and leaving a voicemail, which they haven't bothered to reply to either.
Disgustingly low standards - will be reporting. I can appreciate that mistakes happen, but twice points to consistently poor kitchen management. I am a lifelong vegetarian; had I eaten it by accident, I would be very ill today. I'd advise anybody with a dietary requirement to stay well clear of this place.

Rubbish customer service, we came with our 2 year old and the man who sat us down didn't even offer a high chair and colouring stuff for the kid. We had to find the high chair ourselves. We didn't order a kids meal as we shared our food with our toddler so we asked for a separate plate for her but they didn't have the common sense to give toddler cutlery and cup.
I ordered a risotto which was half cooked. Nobody came to ask how our food was. The rest of the food we ordered was bland and below average. We won't be returning to this Ask branch again.

Had to wait a while for the food to come, but other than that all very good. Charlie looked looked after us well!

The food is good but service and attitude is poor. Why put out small glasses for complimentary drinks and then not provide the drink? Also the food was served on cold plates. No coat hooks. Feels about as Italian as Watford. I think this place is probably beyond redemption

Parking: Car parks at Cattle Market and Little London within walking distance.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not easy, due to steps at main entrance, access has to be through side door, narrow pavement.

A nice restaurant with tasty food. The main course could've been a little warmer.

From entering this restaurant, no one came to welcome us to a seat bearing in mind the place wasn?t busy at all. My mum went up to the bar and asked if we may be seated at a table to which a lady showed us over.
Considering the restaurant wasn?t busy, the service was shocking slow and our food requests and drink requests weren?t acknowledged.
Two of my family members asked for additional toppings on their pizzas, to which these weren?t added. We asked for table water, to which this wasn?t given until we asked again.
There wasn?t any attention to detail for example ?would you like any salt or pepper or sauces or parmesan cheese etc?.
There seemed a lack of any real direction it felt like some staff were all on a training day or they?d rather be at home. There wasn?t anyone taking a clear direction or lead on the 5 or so tables that were occupied.
When the bill came over, we were charged for additional toppings that we didn?t receive. We told our original waitress about this and she went off, got distracted and started serving other tables?
We then told another waitress, anyone would think she was volunteering and not being paid, there wasn?t any personable skills towards us?
Eventually, they took these extra charges off the bill and we paid and left.
Overall, the food was good and tasted fresh. The bar man seemed like the only efficient member of staff and the new strawberry drink tasted lovely.
I wouldn?t come to this restaurant again due to the service recieved.

This place is always busy so thought I?d check it out. Well, the masses of Chichester you?ve been getting it wrong. It?s fine but definitely not amazing.
I had a pizza and pasta which were alright. My Mrs had the Vegan chicken which was basically inedible. Not in a rush to go back.

Mostly fine. The staff are nice.
But please dim your lights in the evening- it was like eating in a hospital cafeteria!
