Great choices of products. Was my first time there. I was working not far from it and needed to do some quick shopping. It is always tricky to find my way around the store I'm not familiar with. The geography is always different from stores to stores, but in this store, I didn't struggle to find what I wanted. All went well until I noticed that I was being followed by the security guard. At one point, he was standing a few meters away from me and was literally staring at me. I needed to get an item from the shelves behind him and had to ask him to move. He was clearly not happy happy. All very laughable. The rest of the staff was professional and friendly enough, which is all I expect as a customer.
The place is well furnished, with extensive choices and enough parking spaces.

Not the largest store in the portfolio however the aisles are good with room to move around. Car park is a paying one.

Just my luck, every time I visit it's heaving, long queues at checkout, gave up today, mind, xmas eve, is everyone leaving their last minute shopping today, seems super busy. Have try and find the quiet times.

I've also been caught out with a £100 parking fine at this Waitrose location. I stopped after dropping my husband at Haywards Heath hospital so the area is new territory for me. It was before 9am and for less than 30 mins to grab a couple of food items. I'm Brighton based so pretty used to outrageous parking charges but also very familiar with the Green Street Green Waitrose branch where you park for free so I'm shocked this has happened. It didn't even occur to me to look or check about parking pay and display here. Nothing else was open for a start and I assumed Waitrose customers would get free parking. ?

Received a parking fine (£100) after visiting Waitrose. I know there are signs everywhere but I was just having one of those days where my mind was in two places. Rang Waitrose and they kept telling me that it isn't their parking, it's parking for the shopping centre and it's too bad.
I understand the responsibility on me but please don't put a Waitrose somewhere where 3rd parties get to pray on drivers.
I got a parking ticket at a hotel once because I forgot to register when checking in. Rang the hotel and they managed to email the parking company and instantly got the fine cancelled. This is what they should be doing for their customers.
