After preparing my food they refused to accept a £10 note because it had a tear in it less than 5mm long. Thanks for that. It is still legal tender.

So went in for footlong and a 6 inch just cheese for the little 1. Bread and 2 triangles of cheese was over 3 pound.. refused to pay that. Then tried to charge me 2.80 for tap water as I was going to put it in a large cup. Disgusting service and horrendous food. Never again

I have only given it 3 Stars for a couple of reasons. 1: The new layout for the menu is not very helpful. The huge poster is set at the start of the queue. So you barely have time to look at it. The overhead menu is not that clear personally. I am sure I will get used to it, but a little bit of forwarding in the window would have been good. The assistant was very nice,but it was hard work getting my order Perhaps if she wasn't so busy being besotted with the handsome young man behind me in the queue. Trying to serve both of us at once was not a good idea

Not a great Subway, the staff are always rude and grumpy. One shouted at me a couple of years back because I asked him to change his gloves or use different hands when switching from meat and dairy to vegetarian and vegan options. Despite him telling me they have to, he wouldn't. The place never seems to be open either and when I do think I'll give them another go they always disappoint. It's a shame as I would like to support them as they have great vegan options there days. I'd reccomend the Haywards Heath and Lewes branches instead.
