3 Star rating, because it does not take three weeks to repair a broken link in a 9ct Gold chain.Was originally promised two weeks but went to pick it up and was told his workshop had loss off power?? Then told to come back the following week to get it.Apart from the delay I would say Lawrence is a polite man and does his best at what he does although a little forgetful.I could not spot the repair while in the shop but upon inspection at home I could see it but when worn this won't be seen. I just hope it lasts.

Unfortunately I saw the other reviews today after encountering my own personal experience this morning, and sadly I am another victim of this con-artist! Don't be fooled by the price! There is a reason for cheaper prices! Loads of fake stones and metal! He offer you discount for cash and no receipt ! Please avoid this shop! Time to report him to the police and to the trading standards!

Hi I want to say I'm very saddened to see some bad reviews I never saw them until after I got my ring fixed .we all have opinion's but he did a beautiful job on my ring we collected today and I'm extremely happy with his work . this man is a lovely happy polite kind man not what I have seen on his website reviews . he fixed my ring on time for me to go to my engagement celebration to Scotland. he was extremely kind every phone call was polite I couldn't have asked for better . I would recommend him pls try not to listen to the reviews il be going back thankyou so much Mr sissling god bless you it's been a pleasure ?

Please avoid. Completely destroyed my grandmothers engagement ring. he had no idea what he had done ..I could not believe what he did to it. I was extremely upset. All had to be replaced by another jeweller .. A new band , and all new diamonds as they were crushed ..

THERE?S NO FOOL, LIKE AN OLD FOOL! I bought what I was being sold as an emerald ring and have since found out it?s green sapphire. 1. Big lie. The ring was very poorly made with diamonds fall out all the time. 2. Poor quality. Avoid this place and don?t be taken in by the ?I?ve been here for 40 years? and the fact that he?s an old man. Time to go to trading standards?

My family and I have bought jewelry and had jewelry repaired by Mr Sissling over a period of many years. We have always found him to be helpful, knowledgeable, polite and a pleasure to do business with. He is a goldsmith and creates beautiful jewelry out of both old and new pieces. I would not hesitate to recommend him . Thank you Mr Sissling.

Unfortunately my experience is a very negative one. This is a very rude man! I saw the Google reviews were not favourable but thought I?d give him the benefit of the doubt?.it was a mistake.I was 7 minutes late for my appointment (which I said would be around 3 to 3.15pm, nothing was set in stone) as I had to drive through 3 lots of temporary traffic lights.The shop was completely closed up with the shutters down. I waited a few minutes thinking he might open up but ended up having to call him.He was very disagreeable telling me that he doesn?t wait for customers as he?s been let down in the past. I tried to explain but he wanted none of it so I said I would go elsewhere. I actually went home as I was so upset.I called him back trying to reason with him but he wouldn?t listen and said he wasn?t prepared to help me?.I was really shocked at his attitude and if that?s how he treats people then no wonder he has so many negative reviews.He said he?s been there for over 40 years?.maybe it?s time for him to retire, take stock and think about how badly he?s treated some of his customers.

We went to get some gold valued that he said he would buy. On the phone he said around £300, when we went there he tried telling us that some of it wasn't 14carat it was about 9, when we know, and can see by the numbers it is 14 carat. He was trying to get rid of us saying he could only give about £160 for all, and told us to go get a better price from somewhere else. He seemed very dodgy

AVOID AVOID AVOID- DODGY business AND LIAR! this guy is not for this job! I called him and asked him if he is buying gold, he said yes we do, he was so nice on the phone, and he offered £28 per carat for 14k gold, but after I went there he said to me that he was thinking it?s 18k gold, not 14k and he took my golden bracelets to check and he said this is 10k, not 14k but even with naked eyes you can see the stamp 585 which means 14k , he was trying to mug me off , I just took my gold back and walked away!

I took my sons necklace into be repaired, which he said he could do, he said it would be just over a week. Returned 2 weeks later, he hadn't even done it. Went back following week and he said he had put it on the machine and it keep breaking. So he couldn't fix it. I was so cross I just walked out. When I got home I found it was in a worst state than I gave it to him. Instead of broken in 1 place it's now in 3 bits. My husband went to the shop the next day and he lied to him saying it only took it out of the bag and thought I cant fix it. You are a liar and I will be reporting this. How could you do this to customers, i would never ever buy from him or get him to repair anything. Dont waste your time, oh and thanks my son has no necklace for his 16th your a star!!
