Be aware of the lady working there, she asked me to go out store as soon as I entered. Maybe she didn't like my face or something else.

Very rude lady in this shop.Extremely bigoted to my eleven year old son, so we politely left.Wanted to use this "local" store instead of the towns big store. Unfortunately, I won't bother again.

My husband and I are delighted with the new bikes we purchased from Julie, she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, to say she?s an expert when it comes to bikes is an understatement. It?s always nice to support a local business like hers.

I'm so pleased I went here as have zero knowledge about bikes and I learnt more in 30 mins than I've ever learnt in my life! Julie was brilliant and checked my whole bike over and even suggested adjusting so I can ride it more comfortably.... I had no idea! Great, friendly service ??

Fantastic service - I contacted Julie about a puncture on my bike, I took it to her earlier today and it was all sorted very quickly. I am so grateful - thank you! ?

Absolutely fantastic service. Julie really knows her stuff about bikes and I really appreciate the effort she took to go above and beyond to teach me about my gear mechanisms and her reccoemndations for maintenance which places like Halfords don't bother to teach you. Important to support local businesses during this tough time.

The lovely lady mechanic sorted my electric tricycle wheel out this afternoon. Superb, prompt and professional service and I thoroughly recommend this business to everyone. Will certainly use them every time in the future.

Bought a bike for my son in June 2018 and found the proprietor to be reasonable and I thought we were doing a good thing by supporting a local independent retailer. Was pleased initially. My son struggles with self-esteem and hadn?t used it much until earlier this year we wanted to try and help him to use it more before the weather got better so he could get the most out of it his summer when he would be too big for it. I found that there was a problem with the nut holding the crank on. I took the bike back to the shop as was too busy with work to try and fix it myself. The bike was over a year old but used perhaps a half dozen times since new. (January 2020)My son was with me and my wife and I mentioned the issue and the shop owner immediately made reference to the bike no longer being a good size for him and we should instead be thinking of getting him a bigger one. I considered this to mean she was more interested in selling bikes than maintaining a relationship with her customers. I initially took the bike away expressing my dissatisfaction at her wishing to sell us a new bike instead of repairing the one that was hardly used and unable to be sold anyway because it was broken. Later that day I returned on my own and spoke with the owner again about the bike. She reluctantly agreed to look at the bike and would call in a day or so when she had mended it.I had the call and I returned to collect the bike. I was presented with a bill for £36.75, not a large amount of money I agree however not insignificant. I reluctantly paid as the bike was out of warranty and any claim would have to be through Trading Standards or the Manufacturer. In the last month (June 2020) I bought two bikes from other retailers. She lost £800 of business because of that choice. I?ll buy elsewhere in future and make time to maintain and repair them myself. (National 3rd Place BMX Champion 1992 - Zimbabwe)I?m sure many others have had good service but sadly, I had a bad experience.

Had my bike repaired today due to a broken chain, the owner was helpful and clear, picked it up the same day and she blew up the tires and cleaned the gears for me for free too. Great service and would recommend
