Have had to change pharmacy, awful service. Staff are friendly but doesn?t change the incompetence of the service provided. Prescriptions constantly take 2-3 weeks, and then take you going in and chasing it just for them to do it there and then.

Clearly something is very wrong with their system. Staff are helpful and apologetic. We have had to wait up to two weeks for repeat prescription. Always a large queue of unhappy customers. It took me 30 minutes to collect a prescription today.

If you need prescriptions regularly or at all for that matter don?t bother, they never have it or have given it to someone else when you come and collect it then have to wait another 3 weeks. No one answers the phone to see if you can get any information literally ever.
Overall stressful, unhelpful and careless.

Staff nice - Jane is always pleasant and helpful, and does the best she can, but back of house service is very poor. If you try phoning, you always get an automated response saying they're too busy to take your call.
I order meds online via their app, and the doc always signs them off quickly. However, after a week, they still haven't been dispensed, and I get sent away to come back in the afternoon. When I come back, one item is owed so I have to make a further visit. All this is after spending ages in a queue.

It?s clear from this place having such bad reviews it needs to change. I came to pick up a prescription made it difficult on purposes. To clarify it was there. Starting telling me I need to allow 7 days ect then finally admitted it was here but would be a long wait I said I would put a formal complaint in then suddenly it would be ready in a few mins. Absolutely disgusting. Unfortunately for them they didint know I work for the MHRA good luck with your next inspection!

Have waited 2 weeks for my meds.came in today in afternoon at 3pm and still not ready. They did say sorry but this is really not good enough, have been in twice now. They had training the other day, so what is going on.

Since they introduced this ridiculous system of prescriptions being sent to a warehouse to be processed and then sent back to the pharmacy, it has caused delays of up to 2 weeks between Dr sending prescription and the medication being ready to collect in store.
All I?m told in store is ?order earlier? which I can?t do as I can only be issued a months worth at a time so I?m already at the limit of how often I can reorder from the doctor or they will refuse the prescription request.
Have spoken with Day Lewis Regional Manager who was full of excuses blaming the manager in branch and said measures were put in place but nothing has changed so have had no choice but to change pharmacy.

One lady at this pharmacy Jane is always very pleasant & polite. But another is always so officious & rude. I now avoid this pharmacy as unfortunately she is usually on the front desk & tends to dominate the poor atmosphere in the chemist. On one occasion I overheard an argument between the pharmacists. Without Jane this would have scored 1 star or zero. There are other options in Burgess Hill which I now use & their staff are so much friendlier & helpful.

Staff are great but too.many customers from nearby surgery often means long waits in queue.

The staff are always so helpful and friendly, despite seeming to receive daily abuse. They have been very clear about the recent change to prescriptions being packaged off site and the lead time they need, but they can still fill non-repeat prescriptions on the day (stock permitting)

This place is a disgrace...shelves are half empty, nothing is priced, paying 8 staff and yet nothing is ready and the speed of work is appalling. I would happily offer my services to resolve these issues ASAP and encourage any senior leadership of Day Lewis to contact me directly where I can discuss this further. For now, rest assured, this is a dismal embarrassment of an establishment and if this is reflective of the rest of your pharmacies, best of luck staying in business!

We are signed up to the external collection system as we commute and can't get in during the week. My husband ordered his repeat, waited 2 weeks for the code and collected his order, part of which was missing, so he reordered. Waited another 2 weeks, without any BP meds, he finally receiving a text saying his order was ready for instore collection. Why not the machine? Day off so I went to collect the new order to be told the missing items from last month are also in store waiting to be collected. The assistant said our fault!! What is the point of having external collection if you only put part of the order in the machine? This branch has gone seriously downhill since moving to the new premises, no longer opens Saturdays, and regularly takes 2 weeks to fill a repeat prescription, even though the signs say allow 7 days.
