Nero at Burgess hill
Order was 2 x cheese and ham toastie + 2 medium de caff lattes to eat/drink in
Toastie was heated slime not toasted felt/tasted like it had been boiled. coffee was bitter but at least we had a full cup overflowing
Tha actual place was looking very worn out and dirty and chairs were uncomfortable
Probably the worst eighteen quid I have spent ! Staff were pleasant enough though
Please steer clear of this dump

Ordered Uber eat few cakes coffee chocolate about £30 worth what with fees etc. Got half portions of cake. They should of refunded item or gave me triamussi complete rip off.nothing like photos of cake in advert. Coffee tasted like standard blend not special blend to that I ordered

Went in just before christmas , place is filthy and could do with a deep clean, including the filthy disabled and only toilet , minging !

Regularly have difficulty using my free coffee voucher from Octopus here. Staff don't seem to know what they are doing with them, and are disinterested. Customer Service skills are lacking, and some training is required.

Reasonable CN in Burgess hill mall. A small shopping area witg some useful stores.. Service a little slow on day visited but the quality of coffee good. Feel prices are creeping up. £3.80 now for a flat white. Reaching a luxury coffee price point for me in a standard shopping area. Prefer quality but will consider less CN visits.

This store is really unclean. Look up - I don't think the light fixtures or anything in the store has been cleaned for ages.

Hot chocolate and coffee latte were good.
The place was not clean. Most tables were empty but none were clear.
Before leaving, I went to the toilet. There is one toilet, it was dirty. As I left I saw the cleaning schedule and being Sunday, either they had repeatedly forgotten to update the sheet since Friday morning, or the toilets hadn?t been cleaned in over 2 days.

Visited for time for coffee only. Service and drink were OK.
The problem was the unacceptable amount of dirty plates, cups and rubbish that had accumulated and not been cleared from far too many tables.
A member of staff was sitting on an outside table. They may well have been on their break but doesn't look good sitting in uniform surrounded uncleared tables.
More staff, someone to mange and some training, might not go amiss.

Management severely needed!! The staff are miles away and have no interest in the job. They left my £4 croissant on the counter and continued to serve other costumes over my food. I waited to be served while he just stared blankly at a saucer. NEVER AGAIN?..:(
