Called in here for lunch and a drink with my husband. Made to feel very welcome, had delicious whitebait and chips, standard fantastic and would highly recommend, price good also. Would certainly visit here again if in the area

Great little pub, very friendly and helpful staff as 10 of us descended on them for lunch. Good straight forward food- good selection of sandwiches, light bites and pub specials. Good local ale too

We have recently visited this pub for lunches out a few times recently. Cannot recommend it enough! Very friendly staff, fantastic menu and delicious home cooked food. Pics of steak and ale pie. Chicken in Stilton cream sauce and steak and kidney suet pudding. We struggled with the large portions!

Beautiful traditional old little pub. All the staff make you feel very welcome. We had Sunday carvery and it was just fabulous, all the trimmings and super crispy potatoes. Cooked homestyle and with the setting it's very homely. Advertising, kareoke/live music and comedy.
