Called up to place an order a guy answered and asked me to hold!He didn't place me on hold he just put the phone down on the counter and for 8 minute's I could hear him banging around.I waited 8 minute's to see if he would come back as I've heard good things about this restaurant, but he didn't lol.

We have ordered 2 takeaways from here recently (Jan & Feb 24), both had no taste, chewy meat and very disappointing . I did have a birthday party booked in but because of this and the total lack of atmosphere (not as per advert pics) I have cancelled. If your thinking of eating here then visit first and maybe have a takeaway.. It could be I was unlucky?? I do give places get a second chance, but not a third.

We thought we try somewhere we havent been and went here for dinner last night. we booked and arrived at 7.30pm. The place was literally empty apart from us. We sat down for over almost 15 minutes before someone came out from the back and took our order. he was wearing a really dirty shirt.I had chicken chaat for starter, my partner had salmon tikka. My main was chicken chilli masala, she had a Pasanda. We had vegetable rice and side dishes of Aloo Gobi(potato and caulifour) and saag paneer(spinach puree and fried cubes of paneer cheese)When the food came, the waiter who had just arrived at the resteraunt was wearing a dirty shirt, tracksuit trousers that were too big and hanging off his arse and flip flops. The salmon starter was delicious. The chaat was, kind of bland and tasteless. The pasanda was a kind of thick and gloopy MSG sauce that didnt taste like any pasanda Ive ever tasted (partner thought it was from a jar).My chilli masala was nice but... REALLY REALLY oily. The aloo gobi was also swimming in oil, literally spoonfuls of oil we spooned out into another bowl. The saag paneer was spinach leaves with grated cheddar cheese melted on top.The rice was nice.We had irish coffees for afters and the cream was clumpy and just on the point of turning. At £68 I do not think we had £68 worth of meal.During our time there we did not see any takeaways being collected either.I guess there was a reason we were the only people there. All in all im kind of suprised at the number of stars this place has.I would not recomend it to anyone. Food was very oily, very bland, sauces appear to be out a jar and very gloopy MSG.We wont be going back

Called in for a takeaway while staying in Felpham. Excellent biryani, naan and saag aloo. Quick service (the restaurant was quiet). Would recommend.

Visited on Monday night, on a late whim of what to do and where to go. We ate as a couple and arrived as a large group were finishing their meal. We were treated well, and served very efficiently. The food was fresh and tasty. Chicken Madras and Prawn Naga were delicious, with a nice heat.A relaxed atmosphere and lovely gentleman took good care of us. Would definitely recommend. Great food, good portions and very well priced drinks and food.

Our usual Indian restaurant in Felpham is currently closed for refurbishment so we decided to try the Simla Tandoori for our take away Indian dinner. We firstly stopped off to place our order and were asked to come back in 20 - 30 minutes or so to pick up our food. No problem. We ordered onion bhajis (4 per serving), chicken vindaloo, chicken tikka masala and pulao rice. I also asked for some popadums and a little tub of lime pickle. All the food came piping hot and was superb. In fact we had to wait a couple of extra minutes when picking up our food as the onion bhajis were made as close to pick up time as possible for extra freshness. Admittedly we only came here for the take away so can't judge what it would be like to eat here. But it all seemed reasonable enough if you're not expecting The Ritz.
