Not a bad place if you want to buy something cheap depending if you want what they are selling, very good value at times.

Fantastic shopping experience especially for garden bits and pieces

Poundland is not anymore poundland! Expensive, bad quality and they cutting from volume of the items. Example: Kodak alkaline button cell was £1 for 30 pieces now is £1.5 for 24 pieces and many other things like this! Before I was shopping all the time in poundland now I am trying to avoid it because is not making any difference then many other shops with prices but quality remain the same for £1. I am really disappointed in this shop!

This place has really gone down hill a couple of years ago you would go in her and everything was £1 and it was nice lots of bargains and odd bits you couldn't find anywhere now they sell some items at £10-15+ and genuinely have lots of well hidden but horrific rip offs such as their 2 for a pound drinks but the bottles are tiny or defective tools and items and still selling for £2-3 and don't even get me started on the electronics and cables etc they are all horrific and are more than likely dangerous to plug in at home just do yourself a favour and shop somewhere else also due to the brand and promise of bargains/low prices it attracts some of the worst people around and as a result is over crowded and some woman litteraly barged past me with out apologiseing or anything

Stopped by this morning to get a pair of glasses as I forgot my glasses at home. This is my first time in this shop.I went to the 'til and there was a gentleman in front of me but I noticed that two self-service tills are closed but one was open. So naturally, in this climate, to avoid as much contact, I headed for the self-service counter and press the button. As soon as it beeped, two female members of staff (the one at the till and one passing) shouted at me for using it.I asked what was wrong and was told it's closed. Ummm clearly it isn't because it doesn't have the "close" sign on screen and it worked as soon as I touched it. I wouldn't have gone to it if it was closed like the other two self-service checkouts.I then went back behind the gentleman and when it was my turn I asked again what was wrong with it. Again, I was told it's closed because they don't allow anyone to use it in the morning and that everybody should use the manned checkout.Okay Poundland, here's the thing. Not everyone will know that. If it doesn't say it's closed, people will use it. In this climate, for people to avoid unnecessarily touching it, Close it!. If by mistake you forget to close it, Do not shout at your customers. It's called.respect, courtesy, customer service.Yes I was that person you shouted at today 5th November 2020 at around 8:30am.... 25 minutes ago.Your staff are rude and unprofessional. You should close down for training. Will I shop there again? First and last.

Absoloutly dreadful. Staff are absoloutly useless. The aisle where people need to be waiting is not being monitored for social distancing which lead to a man coughing on me and literally pushed in in the queue. I will be emailing head office

Lots of bargains, can't go wrong for a £1. The cremes, gels & pads for backache are brilliant as are the extension for phone chargers.
