Dreadful !!!
I brought in a jacket, trousers and another jackets for to be given a price for alteration. After two weeks I still had no price even after a phone call to chase the quote.
Also, he lost my £90 jacket which I had spent I spent £125 tailoring costs for a perfect fit prior to taking it here for cleaning. He initially only offered me £50 compensation. He even started hinting at accusations of a scam!!! How can I be creating a scam when he lost my jacket!!! His wife called me a TOSSER, seriously can you believe that!!!! I did eventually get him to pay £100 but no apology. £100 did not seriously compensate me. WHAT A DREADFUL EXPERIENCE!! STAY AWAY. Obviously I found another tailor to do the alterations on the other jacket.

I had very large velvet curtains cleaned. Excellent job. One very large one needed a new lining. Again this was an excellent on and the lining was better than the original from JohnJewis. I would say James cleaners could do with a 5 star plus. Thank you

Unresponsible owner who is closing whenever he wants, not when he supposed to. When asked why he's doing this he just smiled and no answer. 2 stars only because of good quality of service, that's it. I'll never come back here again.

Yesterday Debs and I were desperate for an emergency cleanLipstick on an new and expensive beige coatHaving trying a makeup remover wipe, we decided not to even bother as it didn't even touch the mark.As we were staying in Butlins, James seem the nearest and an independent shop, so we headed straight there.Well, the gentleman was so helpful, attentive and managed to get the entire 2 marks out of the jacketHe would not even accept a penny. We insisted he took £10, but he made it very clear it was the least he could do for us.As a local business, I would thoroughly recommend this shop.We thought the very least we could do would be to post this review*****
