Always been a solid call for a breakfast on our annual trip to Bognor. Good traditional English Breakfast with fried bread making it the main attraction. Might not be the most sophisticated dining (poached eggs cooked in moulds and with salad for breakfast?) but always very popular and definitely worth a visit.

Went to howards for the first time .found it over priced for the qty food on menu service was poor with staff walking around with food trying to find the correct table .cakes in the cabinet looked like they had been there for months .service found them to be rude with no please or thank you quick to take your money .atmosphere was not good felt it was a very depressing place to eat and wind down I don't normally hurry to get out but this place was so depressing

While on holiday we went here with our son to have a breakfast and was not disappointed. food was fresh and of a high quality and was cooked to perfection. was a nice seating area outside undercover.

What's happened with Howard's. I visit the coffee shop now & again and always have been pleased. Yesterday I ordered fish chips & peas. Well , living by the sea you imagine being presented with a piece of cod white in the middle. Instead I got a piece of cod which looked like it come out of a box from a freezer shop, brown in the middle, burn't greasy and hard & only a handful of chips. Never again for me.

Very poor lunch. Fish. Chips and peas. Nothing like I have seen before. Small box fish portion overcooked as was the very few chips. Same for my cousin and she couldnt eat hers. It was dry and well overcooked. It was her birthday so I didnt complain and cause a fuss, but I wish I had done now. Been going in this cafe for 6 years, but not any more. I know there are cut backs, but this was taking it too far. Shame on you.

My wife and I ordered breakfast, well It came a Greasy mess is the best way to describe it everything was deep fried, eggs cremated not at all like the pic on the website, needless to say we won?t be going there again. Very poor standard.

I called in for a snack while waiting for my bus. It was busy but the queue moved quickly. All good and, being on crutches, I appreciated the offer to carry my tray over to my table.
There was plenty of seating.

Nice cafe, but sadly the food was a real let down. My daughters smoothie all separated in the glass, liquid at the bottom, and thick liquid at the top, she let me taste it, and it was bland and sour, just frozen packet stuff, a waste of money at £4.50. I ordered chips and a cheese and tomatoe toastie, the chips were pale and didn't seem like they were cooked long enough, and what a pity abit more care was not taken to season the cheese and tomatoe with a grind of black pepper and salt, it would of lifted the poor sandwich to new heights!. A bit more care to the food definitely needs to taken orherwise return customers would be minimal. A day out in bognor that could of been better with a nice meal.

What a find! Needed some tea and cake after shaking myself up tripping on the sloping pavement ( that's another story), carrot cake was lovely, full of nuts and frosting. Pot of tea automatically came with pot of hot water, crockery & cutlery shining and clean. Ladies at the counter were friendly and helpful, whole place has a caring friendly atmosphere. Wish I lived nearer to come every week!!
