Had a great stay at the Sportsman Inn. Cosy pub, clean room with a fab view and an amazing full English breakfast. Special thank you to Sophie who looked after us so well during our visit and stayed up late to make sure we checked in ok on our first night. Would definitely recommend!

Pub menu pub but very well executed. All 4 of us had delicious food (both main and pudding). Beautiful view from the terrace at the back. Good service. Will look forward to coming back.

A welcome stopping off point on the South Downs way. Stonking real ale. Lovely staff. The views over the downs are sensational with binoculars provided. What a fine spot this is a place we should all support a fine British pub. Will be sad to leave.

The food was very nice and the location is exceptional. It was a warm evening and we sat outside on the terrace overlooking the water meadows. We had a fantastic evening.

Wonderful setting and food very nice. The outside balcony was lovely on a summers evening. Service good and friendly, would return again.

Amazing views from the back of the pub which is hidden in the historical village of Amberley. Food is great as well. Loved the fact that they did supply binoculars to look at the wildlife as well as the hot air balloon?s.
