Nice place, with very friendly and quick staff. The food was good and the desserts too good to share :) Only thing for us was the portion sizes for the price. You can tell you're in a very touristy area. But, we recommend it if you're there!

Food took almost an hour to come (bare in mind half of my table ordered the same as me at the same time) staff were barely apologetic, overpriced everything and the drinks were poured half way, staff are condescending and unprofessional, smoking in the smoking area during a shift, very bad experience, there are far better pubs in the area

We popped in for something to eat today 20/7/25 and noticed the menu was different to what was online, so we politely asked a staff member and she explains it's because it was a Sunday, which was valid... She asked what I had wanted and said she would ask the chef as it was quiet and the roast had run out by this time, The chef was happy to do the items I had mentioned... So one happy customer ? so thank you chef and Tara for doing something above and beyond
Just to say I would have just had the burger if my request could not be met with no fuss, but pays just to ask the question ?

Roast beef for two and was so impressed! Best roast I?ve eaten out for ages. Served quickly, warm, excellent food and great portion. Would recommend and will definitely go back - thanks.

Visited with my Mum and Aunt. The food is a bit pricey. However, our portions of food were very big. I couldn't even finish a cheese and pickle sandwich. The amount of cheese was very generous.
The staff were friendly and chatty to all the customers. Especially the red headed gentlemen behind the bar.
He is shows great potential with his exceptional customer service skills.
We will certainly come back again.

This pub is fairly local to me 15 minute drive into Arundel
If I?m wanting a pub lunch this is the no1 pub for food, service ambience & decor in Arundel
Ok the Black Rabbit is a great spacious setting on a nice day but this pub also has a nice sunny garden but more importantly the food is exceptional
My friend & I both had the small sized ploughman?s (huge amounts) & a proper ploughman?s every ingredient a ploughman?s should be!
The service was a bit slow only 1 girl behind bar & she seemed to be taking food to tables as well! Still she was very pleasant & made the best pimms ( so many pubs fail to do this & when your paying £7:20 a glass you expect all the fruits & mints that go with it!
Won?t hesitate to return be coming here for years & it never fails!

Food arrived quickly with very generous portions. Delicious food and very well presented. Music was at a nice volume which made it easy to have a conversation and gave a very chilled and relaxed atmosphere.
Definitely going to return to try more on the menu.
