Went in today and got 2 cakes, 1 cannoli and 1 yum yum and unfortunately they both tasted stale. Looked nice and I?m sure they?d be delicious if they were fresh just disappointing today. They do offer a several options to cater for different dietary requirements which is nice to see as lots of places haven?t caught up with that yet.

Where have all the morals gone? Used to have a lovely LGBTQ+ vibe. Then a lot of positive, inclusive messaging. Now full of Morrissey blurb who is hardly the most tolerant of people. It really feels this cafe has sold its morals down the river for profit. They have bird and blend, which is amazing. They removed all its positive, inclusive messaging, which is a tragedy in these divided, less inclusive times. Ill go to Belindas again in future.

£21 for 2 cannoli and 2 drinks seems insanely expensive, especially when the cannoli aren?t freshly made (and therefore soggy), and the hot chocolate was 40% regular whipped cream. Staff were nice enough to us? but we overheard how they had to take someone else?s drink from in front of them to check if it was made correctly. The atmosphere is strange? very overwhelming considering Arundel is a very warm and peaceful place. The menus (though creative) are an eyesore and difficult to process.
Also why am I drinking from a parrot?!
From looking at other reviews, a bitter response from the owner is expected ?

The atmosphere of this place is really good and cool, the artwork is really trendy. The service is good as well. Unfortunately, the food does not live up to the same standards though. The brownies are extremely dry, they used to be so nice and soft a few years ago. It is unfortunate that the brownies are quite dry as the place is quite a cool place.

We were welcomed in by Siena who was so hospitable and friendly while looking after us - even when the shop was very busy! We ordered ?milky-bae brownies? and their specialty iced lattes which tasted amazing. I would absolutely recommend you visit this cafe for it?s incredible vibe and staff who work so hard to make sure you have the best experience :)

Mediocre cakes at ludicrous prices, one viennese whirl and one brownie to take away cost £12. No wonder they don't show the prices! I wouldn't have minded if the cakes were exceptional but they were mediocre at best and the staff weren't exactly what you'd call friendly. Updated with a photo of the bill as the owner doesn't seem to believe that's what I was charged. Perhaps they overcharged me by mistake and if so I'll happily remove the review once refunded the overcharge £12 - £7 = £5 refund. The attached bill has the time (16:01) so they can check their system to see what has gone on. Update 2: so I offered to retract my review if the overcharge was refunded and instead the owner tries to attack my character and intelligence, well I guess you just can't help some businesses... Classy management. Update 3: So you the owner/manager are now aware of the £5 overcharge (your businesses fault not mine) will a refund be issued?
