I cannot praise this museum and the staff/ volunteers enough. There was loads to do with my 3 children and Grandparent.
We loved having a go at the print shop, moved onto having a go at wood turning where everyone of my children including my DD with Downs Syndrome had a go. Off for a little lunch and straight to the pottery where they all made what they wanted. Finished the day on the train! There was truly too much to do in one day and already my girls are asking when we can go again..
Thank you everyone who made it truly a wonderful day.

Ideal place to visit. Educational and evocative. Nice to know there are people who are willing to keep history alive

Top day out. Easy to get to from Amberley railway station. The exhibits are hugely varied and the nature walks are very pretty. The electricity barn was the most interesting. Lots of volunteers and crafts people around to explain the exhibits. The ride on the train is short but fun. The main cafe was a bit tired inside and could have had more cake choices on offer, but friendly service nonetheless.

Excellent location, great fun and so much to learn. Our children enjoyed it hugely and tbh all five adults loved it also. All in all a great family day out and one day is not enough to take everything in which is why we purchased an annual membership pass. Loved it ?

A lovely place to visit. You won't see anything like all of it in a day. There are exhibitions of communications, buses, narrow guage railways, engines and electricity generation of past times. There are buildings that have been moved from their original location and rebuilt here. There are demonstrations of old skills that are still being retained.
And a cafe to keep you field up.

We took a young man with us with complex needs, 1 of which is he is blind. The staff went above and beyond to make this day very special for him. They had him doing alsorts of things and he had the biggest smile on his face for most of the day.
