We had a magical time at this beautiful castle set in tranquil South Downs, Arundel town is close by which is wonderful town to visit full of cafes, riverside, castle and cathedral church to visit. Parts of the castle is under renovation so unfortunately we couldn't take a circular walk but the village itself is very quaint. We tried the 18 hole putting site and tennis which was great fun, inclusive of our stay. The staff were attentive and professional. The 5 course fine dining meal in the evening was pleasant apart from the vegan option main course was too bland so pretty disappointing considering the price of the meal. Our pleasant surprise getting a room upgrade without mentioning it to us was a beautiful gesture. The room was decorated tastefully which made it a very comfortable stay. Downside would be no mini bar to even keep your milk fresh and cool in the junior suite. Our room didn't have a door to the bathroom which was unusual. Otherwise crisp white comfortable sheets for good night sleep. Beautiful grounds and magical experience so will still highly recommend this hotel.

We had a Champagne afternoon tea at Amberley Castle. Lovely location, both the surrounding are and the castle. Afternoon tea was delightful.

This was a pretty cool place to see. It definitely takes you back to the medieval days when you could buy overpriced coffee in a castle :)We went there it was a fair day or something. I threw an axe like a boss.

I visited for afternoon tea over the festive period & the food was outstanding.The staff went above and beyond catering to all our needs without being over bearing or pretentious.I have recommended Amberley Castle to my friends and family- thank you for a wonderful time.I look forward to visiting again very soon hopefully.
