Sad to say we were not impressed the decorWas v nice the food was less than average in our opinion the meat was tough we ordered2,normal roast and we asked fo you do a small portion and was told that they did what they didn't tell us was they would be the same charge as the full meal so when the bill arrived we were charged at rate no reductionWe queried this the manager came to our table with a Very Aggressive attitude before we had a discussion trying to frighten us wrong attitude no apology they were wrongAnd we are the customers and we will never eat there again.

Stayed here on a Sunday night. The staff were all really helpful and welcoming. I had asked if I could park my car early as I was catching a train to Brighton in the morning. Not only were they happy to accommodate this but we were also checked in as our room was available. We had an evening meal in the restaurant that was excellent as was the English Breakfast. The only reason I have scored the room (205) as 3* is that the towel radiator in the bathroom could not be turned off or regulated, so made the whole room really hot even with the bathroom door shut. Also, just a small point, the soap dispenser for the wash basin was so high up that it was quite awkward to reach. Would definately recommend the hotel.Nearby activities: Angering railway station is about a 25min walk from the hotel.

Staff friendly and helpful, room was comfortable, nice bathroom and fabulous breakfast. Had a pool, although the sauna didn't seem to work.

I'm now a returning customer and have stayed alone as a treat/break to destress, with a friend as a mums night away, and as part of a romantic break as a couple, and I'll be coming back again. The pool and sauna are lovely, the gardens are pretty and a pleasant stroll even in the rain, and the 16th century building itself is a wonderful setting. The rooms are warm, comfortable, immaculately clean, well laid out and equipped with everything you need. The staff are polite, helpful and friendly, as well as accommodating. The breakfast buffet is a great mix of pastries, fresh fruit, with both premade granola pots and options to make your own, again beautifully presented. Coffee is fresh, and the cooked breakfast options are delicious, and the service is excellent.Having now had meals in the restaurant and bar, the food is of the same high quality and standard as everything else, and highly recommended.Despite living close enough to know a few of the people living locally through work, Angmering Manor has become a haven away from the hustle bustle and stress of everyday life. It's in a beautiful setting with a quality of service that can't be improved on. My only "complaint" would be that like many smaller hotels they don't offer room service, but beyond that I can't find anything that isn't 10/10

An old Manor converted into a hotel, leaflet says the hotel has been operating since 2006. The feel is one staying in an English cottage. The place has a lot of character and is not a typical hotel one would expect while browsing the selection. There is a restaurant and a bar, there were more facilities advertised such as gym, therapist and sauna which we did not visit. The service of the restaurant, front desk and the bar scores over the food and drinks that were offered.

A nice hotel in a lovely village. Building has plenty of character and the room was a good size with all facilities working. Lots of twisty stairs, not sure if theres a lift so if disabled worth checking. Everything was clean. The only issue we had was my partner's avocado on toast in the morning was coloured brown in places so clearly the avocado was not fresh. Hence the 4 star rather than 5.

I ate here with friends. A gentle English setting, a little dated but clean, friendly, and inexpensive.

Stunning venue, friendly helpful staff, amazing food. Had our wedding and reception at Angmering Manor and they ensured the day ran smoothly and everything was as we?d hoped for and more!

Today we visited Angmering Manor for afternoon tea for my Grans 94th birthday. On arrival I was left standing in the hallway unsure where I was supposed to go to the restaurant. 3 staff members walked past me and didn?t even look up.I was a little early so eventually a lady took me through to the bar to wait.We were then left in the bar area for 10 minutes after our booking time before someone took us through to be seated.Sat at the table for another 10 minutes before we were offered drinks. As it was a pre booked afternoon tea I would have expected the food to be bought out quite promptly, but no we had been sat at the table for over 20 minutes before we saw any food. The food itself was nice, and presented well.We were offered more tea and then that was the last we saw of the staff, I had to literally go to the kitchen to find someone to ask for a box to take away the remaining sweet treats for my Gran and asked for the bill. The lady came out with some foil and popped it on the table and walked away. Then came back with the bill, no smile, no questions to check if everything ok, nothing! The building is beautiful but shame the staff have no pride in their work or customer service skills.
