Booked a hair appointment online to be told that stylist doesnt cut short hair. Apprently theres ment to be a warning online that tells you that, but there isn't. So if you have short hair. Go somewhere else.

Nicky has been doing my hair for years.I have naturally curly hair and I would not trust anyone else to do my hair. She has helped me go blonde, highlights/lowlights/straighten my hair. She listens to eveything I say and also recommends things for me as well. Don't ever retire Nicky, I don't know what I would do.

I came here for a wolf cut last year by Lucy and she did an amazing job. When the layers grew back, I booked back in with her, but when I got to the salon no one told me it wouldn?t be her doing my hair but someone else. If I knew that I wouldn?t have come but didn?t want to lose my deposit. I explained everything I wanted but the cut was just so bad, it looked like I had a bob on top and long hair underneath. Almost like I had ill fitting hair extensions, which is insane as it was my own natural hair. The layers weren?t blended, nothing framed my face. Just a disaster.I couldn?t get it fixed until I grew it out and have just had a haircut yesterday elsewhere. They took over an hour pulling every length apart and they were surprised at how bad the blending was. They were in complete and utter shock and took ages to fix the layers aswell. Thankfully they fixed it and my hair is just back to normal.If you have curly/wavy hair I wouldn?t recognise this place at all, they don?t take into account any of that so when the layers cut by hairdresser 2 lifted back up when my hair was in its natural state it looked so dreadful. Additionally, every time I?ve gone in and talked about brightening my hair/ adding light brown, they tell me that bleach would ruin my hair / blonde wouldn?t suit me/ a fringe wouldn?t suit me. I just don?t think that?s something you have the authority to say as a hairdresser. Recommendations are good but outright telling people they won?t suit anything is just mean. The hairdresser I went to, to fix my cut, has put in the most gorgeous subtle bangs that I can wear naturally (curly) and straight. He didn?t complain/make me feel bad for having curly/dark hair. Also, my dream of having lighter hair for summer: he said is completely possible without bleach. His advice: always get a second opinion.I personally won?t be going again because of the dreadful cut I had/customer experience. However if you want a good cut I can?t fault Lucy at all. She?s always been so great. And if you feel uneasy trust your gut and get a second opinion. Don?t ever let anyone make you feel like you can?t have a certain hair cut with your natural hair, just find someone who works well with it.

As a hair loss sufferer who wears wigs, it's really difficult to find a salon that will wash/blow dry your wig without making you feel like you're a bit of a freak. Trust me I had called at least 10 salons in the area and their responses were the same - "ermmm no we don't do that kind of thing"WOW Penn you guys were amazing ?I sent in my 22 year old son with my wig as I didnt have the confidence to go in myself - and it was washed/blow dried and returned within the hourYou guys have really restored my faith in salons - thank you!

I love this salon! I have Ella cut my hair and every time she will give me exactly what I asked for and better! I tend to be very picky with who cuts my hair as I had haircut nightmares in other places but I trust Ella and this salon so so so much! Lovely experience every time:)
