Nice store and staff are pleasant enough but they never answer phone, 14 calls over one evening trying to contact them and absolutely nothing. I know its a busy place but at 8.30 pm it's ridiculous.

While the lady at the counter was absolutely lovely and her positive attitude was infectious I still felt like a criminal browsing this store.
I've never had a security guard check on what I'm doing to this extent at any store before.
I even had a lady pretend she was looking at the shelf next to me with some stock item (she didn't do anything and walked away shortly).
I guess you start feeling uncomfortable if somebody browses your store for more than 5 minutes?
Never felt so unwelcome and even though the security guard saw me at the checkout he still stopped me at the exit to see my receipt.
I think I may just have to go elsewhere next time. Somewhere where they don't look at you like a thief just for being there.

I had bought a Royale High toy and it has a code missing. Management did not show and I was told that I was unable to exchange the toy as another as it is a manufacturer error. I was told they were unable to provide the service of Act 15, purchased and so I have a right to a refund. I had bought the toy later yesterday and today I was told that the code is not a fault of smyths, though I am buying from this provider.
It is greatly disappointed to be told I couldn?t despite purchasing from the store. It was embarrassing. Manager never helped as they did not bother to come down to sort out this issue. They will not get my custom again.

Not the best Smyths ive been too, very long and confusing layout makes it very hard to pin point anything you want, seems understaffed for the size of the store, alot of display toys open/ broken or missing would imagine theres alot of theft from this store. But there is a large selection of toys and games with some offers.

I would not even give 1 star, recently, we bought a bicycle and after a week of buying my brother was casually riding it and the chain system fully broke down, when we went to Smyths for repair, they said it comes under misuse and we cannot repair and does not come under the warranty. So we went to Halfords and they told us that it is not misuse and it has not been assembled correctly and some parts should have come off to take the impact; however not all of it came off meaning that my brother could have been seriously injured by their wrongly assembled bike. So now we have to get the bike fixed for £100 more, extremely disappointing and frustrating experience and very bad customer service. Hated it. Never buying from them again.

Came to Smyths Wolverhampton - with my daughter. Shop Assistant AMANDA helped us massively from start to finish - she went above and beyond with helping us decide what new born baby items to purchase, gave us lots of knowledge and showed us the products and explained in great detail. Truly grateful for her help - we will be returning soon to purchase the Panorama XT by Babylo 2-in-1 Travel System & Car Seat . Amanda was a star Assistant- thank you A++++++

I will not be buying anything from smyths again, I brought a pram in May 2023 so not a year old and this has a hole in it! Iv contacted store to be told to bring reciept in and this would be resolved to come in and have a rude staff member tell me no this isn't a fault and that she's worked there for 7 years! She told me if i knew the managers name i spoke to on the phone that it would of been a different story.. i contacted customer service they emailed the manager once again for them to say no after I was told to come in..
I'm not very happy with this as now I have a pram with a hole in which will just get bigger over time as my son grows!
Iv been told to go to joie when I brought the item from yourselves if that was the case I'd of put the money into there pockets..
If I could put 0 stars I would!!

Went into the store recently to purchase a car seat. Amanda who works at Smyth store in Wolverhampton is amazing. She helped me to pick the correct car seat for my son. She was brilliant at demonstrating how to install the car seats properly. Her customer service skills are one of the best I have seen.
