Lovely, delicious and tasty food and very kind staff. Would highly recommend to visit. Once I tried the food, I was hooked, I am now a regular here. My family and freinds love it.

Not sure what Shimla Balti some of these reviewers have been to.. nothing but a delightful experience for me and my wife on my birthday. Polite and friendly staff gave us a warm welcome from start to finish. Tables/floor/cutlery/glasses all clean staff were actively tidying throughout the night, definitely no food was on the floor like last person said?? Food was honestly exceptional, for starters I had the chom chom chicken and my wife had the sheesh kebab, both were beautiful and the sheesh kebab was so fresh haven?t had one that mouth watering before? talking myself into another haha. The owner came out to greet us after we were sat down and helped my wife with her choice of main course as she wanted to try something new.. the owner was happy to help. Just make sure you save plenty of room in your stomach when you come here as there?s generous portions and if you?re like me you just want to try everything! Thankyou Shem definitely our new favourite spot

Had a take away - really nice! Only thing I would say, don't cram too much food in the curry dishes that contain a lot of oil. But the food = superb!

If I could give no stars I would. I booked two weeks in advance a booking for two people this New Year?s Eve at 8:30. We turned up only to find the restaurant was as over crowded with travellers, breaking health and safety and overcrowding. The manager didn?t give a toss about our booking saying sorry. He couldn?t even tell us when a table would be available. Not good enough I?m afraid. Other families were waiting with their children, but the owner didn?t give a damm. I will be reporting this restaurant for dangerous overcrowding just for the sake of making a fast buck. Shame on you Shimla Balti.
My advice to anyone, do not make plans to go here as you?re likely to be disappointed and shafted. Our New Year?s Eve has been totally ruined

My initial thoughts on this place were quite positive but they quickly changed after eating the food here. The floors underneath the table weren?t clean I was most definitely stepping on someone else?s food. The rice had no salt in one of the meals, tasted nothing like a good Indian dish and the chicken curry I ordered I had asked for spicy however it was given sweet with little to no spice. This place seems like it gives English watered down Indian meals and even then it?s still not good. I usually don?t write a review but I had to after it caused my partner nausea and me stomach pain. I would not recommend this place to anyone at all! Seriously don?t go here it?s not worth being ill over.
