A Friday night stop over - friendly staff as always, Rooms were not quite ready on arrival but bar was open so all good. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Evening meal was very good, appear to be a little understaffed but those available worked hard . Steak cooked to perfection, Katsu chicken superb. A few dodgy characters hanging about outside but a very pleasant security guard in the lobby area.

Room was okay for a prem plus sheets had dirt on some places some of the staff was rude (house keepers and dms) we did how ever meet a nice young lad called Tyrese and Steve me and my friends was sat at the bar on the last night having a good conversation with them (hope you got home okay) but how ever dav the dm was giving my sister a dirty look up and down my sister pressed the wrong button in the lift and a house keeper started to have a go at her the food service was a lot better compared to last time last time we was waiting up for 2 hours for the starter and you can only imagine how the main went . we had to wait for the main and trying to get someone to come up to us for another drink we?ll they walked passed with their heads down after they see me trying to get their attention but this time it was 10x better wasn?t waiting long food was good standers and breakfast was also really good ordered poached eggs and they came out fast I would stay again just a bad review as some of the staff was so rude

The overall stay was great the only down fall was a rude housekeeper on the 7th floor. Tyrese who was on evening shift in the restaurant was super friendly and we had a great chat with him during are drink at the bar so it was a good night

I was staying in premier in hotel Birmingham near New Street Station a few times just for the night or two and always had a quiet room and good night sleep on a comfortable bed. The booking process was quick and easy. I also had my breakfast there, which could be fresher but a very good value overall. Thank you ?

A one night stay over for business central location easy for main station no issues at all friendly welcoming and comfortable . Room very clean, all round service very good. Would recommend for ease of location

Stayed for one night good location close to centre etc, and staff very friendly. Room clean comfy bed and nice breakfast. The hotel does look very tired inside and looks like it could do with a makeover and a bit more of a clean. Entrance of the hotel very lonely lots of beggers outside just be aware

Booked a 3 night stay with meals included. 1st night there was no wine. 2nd night there was no food!!!!! Our pre payment was refunded but we then had to wander round a city we didn't know to find an evening meal, after a 13 hour day at crufts this was not fun! Very dissapounting overall

A typical, comfortable Premier Inn room, with an exceptional bed (and good nights sleep!), but needs an iron. Food was superb, but service was very slow and several people were complaining. The hotel was understaffed, which caused most of the problems, but the staff who were present were extremely warm and helpful, even if they didn't seem trained or able to complete your request. Issues with booking caused me to be charged three times, but I've been told that I will be refunded. Location to the station is excellent (30 seconds from exit), but do expect to see/be approached by disadvantaged/homeless people and keep a few extra notes/pounds in your wallet to help them out a little.

The hotel itself is in a great location if you are coming by train and is clean, comfortable and very quite! However, its right next to a 24 hour McDonalds so lots of delivery drivers hanging around late at night, which as a loan traveller was a bit unnerving when arriving at 8pm.

Great room on fifth floor very quiet and clean , and good location of the hotel if you can stand people sitting outside McDonalds literally begging or loitering around outside. Shocking internet though not good if u want to use Tiktok or other apps on your phone or laptop have had problems with connecting as it keeps dipping out of internet connection. We're not living the dark ages so they should sort it. Not tried breakfast yet but I wouldnt recommend eating dinner in hotel as the dinners look expensive in the menu in each hotel room. Great shower though and lovely Baylis and Harding complimentary in shower for guests to use.

Very central location next to/above a McDonalds. Initial impression was a bit grim due to local area, but once in our room we were happy. Large newly refurbished room which was very clean and fresh. Very comfy bed and quiet too, so we slept well. Right next door to New Street Station so very convenient for trains.

This hotel couldn?t be more ideally located in Central Birmigham, just yards away from New Street Station. I had made an error with the booking but Steve, the manager, could not have been more helpful. He found us a room and checked us in really efficiently. The room was very clean. It is surprisingly quiet here - we literally heard no outside noise (from our 5th floor room) and had a pleasant night sleep. The disappointment for us was the breakfast. It?s an additional £9.50 each for continental and hot buffet style breakfast. For us, this was a let down. The hot buffet was very low on all items and whilst they were doing their best to replenish it as quickly as they could, what was there was congealed and not very appetising. There was a lack of cups for hot drinks, a lack of glasses for juices, juices were needing constant replenishment which people had to keep asking for, there was a lack of croissants and pastries and the tables were slow to be cleared. Steve seems to be running a one man show - he?s literally running from front of house to book people in and then back to re-stock the buffet with very little help from anyone else. What help he has got is rather lack lustre and slow going. Overall, we?d stay again because the location is perfect for Central Birmingham and skip breakfast because it really was a very poor experience for us.

Very disappointed as the little things let the hotel down. The staff were friendly but the room could have been so much better. Location is good but was disappointed in the overall experience considering how much we paid.

Great hotel stayed in premier room which was on top floor.Hotel right next to station, and very quiet.Really central to all shops, you have option if you want to eat in hotel.Room clean and bed very comfortable.Option to very the heat thermostat.Tea and coffee machine in room, also bottled water i fridge.Plenty hot water for shower.
