The worst shop in Wolverhampton!!! Poor customer service manager always has an excuse... last straw for me is using just eat to order and getting a call from Mamees saying they haven't got the food and I must cancel order. Just Eat have said once the takeaway is preparing the order they are responsible to cancel the order and will not refund my £22. They run out of food don't update the system. They have sent half portion when they have ran out. I've had burnt food (which is mentioned on other reviews) i was sent a total different soup to the one I ordered to be told we only make it on a Saturday but It was midweek and still on the menu..We originally only use to have the breakfast from here which we never had a problem with we then decided to try other things on the menu my husband only ate the fried chicken meal from here when i wanted lamb chops and thats the only reason I've ordered again with instructions asking for them not to send burnt food half portion and forgetting the drinks.It seems different people cook and you never know what standards you going to get until the food arrives. The manager is just in denial they can't run a buisness they should just stick to breakfast. £22 down the drain.... we will stick to our regular who we only stray from because they don't do lamb chops

foods completely changed! took a bite out of the jerk chicken and rice and was met with the nastiest taste ever. I order from here religiously! I don?t know what?s going on in the kitchen but something needs to change.

Really changed, used to be our favourite caribeen, very poor last two visits. Unfriendly service, items missing, food overcooked or burnt. Won?t be v going again

Service was slow and lacked basic manners considering it was very quiet at the time of my visit. Staff were present behind the counter but I lacked any acknowledgement/a smile, took around 10 mins to get served. (My hunger was the staying power). Again there was only other one person in front that was waiting on their food so didnt quite understand the delay.
Food was ok, had the boneless fish and rice and peas, medium dinner was £8. Standard price in comparison to its competitors.
This is my first visit but fortunately unless I am out of options, I would probably will not return just due to the service.

I loved my first experience here at Mammees haven driven past it a million times. We parked free of charge at the Avion Centre 5 mins away and walked down. We arrived at 6.30pm having starved myself all day for this. I got the traditional reggae Jamaican vibes as I entered the restaurant. It was quite busy with online orders being picked up by delivery drivers throughout my stay which is testimony that customers are loving this place. We opted to dine in and wasn't disappointed. A few tables and bar counter floor plan which was comfortable. Food is displayed and there is ample choice. Ordered the curry goat, rice and peas with steamed veg with a ginger beer which came to £18.50 for two. I ordered medium which to my surprise came up quite large in portion. It was absolutely delicious ? it hit the right spot, yummy! Thank you Nasreen who served me and my bro and a massive thank you to the masterchef behind the scene. I will definitely return for more. Great job, well done ?
