I went to dunelm in wolverhampton on Tuesday, the value of my shopping at this store was just over £165 when looking for certain things there didn't seem any staff to ask, so some of the things I went for i couldn't get ,got to check out to find you had to use self service which I was not happy about considering I had a lot of items ? the assistant who was very nice and his customer service was outstanding, dunelm head office you need more staff in your store i don't think its fair to customer or your.staff you would have far more customer's if you had more staff on floor

My wife had taken a item back due to a chip the base of the glass and as it was an online order only the lady in the store sorted it out for replacement to be sent out..great products and really lovely helpful staff.

Still has lots of china sets to choose from, not many shops does nowadays. And elderly people like to see it in person before they buy it. Plus other items like curtains.

Can't believe the lack of service in this shop on a Saturday...firstly no one about on the made to measure blinds section just an empty chair with a jacket ! Then at the till 3 staff and 1 customer I was happy to wait but got directed to self service which im not happy with and also I asked about getting purchases wrapped as delicate and advised there's the paper do it yourself ...all this while im being watched.....be nice to go to work and watch the customers doing my job .....
Not impressed at all ....

Hit or miss on if you're gonna receive good service or not. Ordered some items for click and collect on the Friday, received the email to collect same day, no issues. Ordered some more items, worth £120+, on Saturday for same day collection again, waited around all day for the email, it'll be 2 days tomorrow, if they even bother, when I'm not around to pick up my order. Had I been notified my order wouldn't be available on the day it was supposed to be I could plan around it. Rang up multiple times, no answer whatsoever. Customer service is non-existent. Only way I'll consider shopping here again is if I'm absolutely desperate and even then I'll try make do without. The one star is only given because I can't give any less.

Today Im son Lost his phone In this Store , We were tried to Find But We Didnt get that , So We Ask the employyes and manager give us ring if they found and we Left the store So After 2/3 hours they find our phone and Contact us Sooo sooo sooo Happy to find phone Thank to lady who found the Phone

Bought a mattress online and received with marks on it spoke to 2 lovely staffs if I can return in the store within 24 hour instead waiting for weeks to get them collected they said yes I can return in store, hired a man with van to take it back to store when got there was refused refund from very rude manager LILY I left the mattress in store and took a video as proof that I left in store now dealing with customer service to get my refund very un professional and rude management in bilston store
Finally after reporting the manager to the customer relations team and sent a letter to Dunelm director revive my refund after 7 days

Our local Dunelm, customer service is never above and beyond but nonetheless we go back as you do. Visited last week, cashier could clearly see some support was needed on packing items, wasn?t even asked ?would you like a bag?? In fact her whole attitude from the start was robotic, no conversation or interaction, very transactional and somewhat rude, queue was forming behind us she didn?t even call to a colleague for help. My mum paid separately for her items at which point I asked ?is it possible to have a bag please?? Basically as a prompt which I didn?t realise customers had to do. On leaving me and my mum were displaying our dismay at the poor levels of service, at which point an employee heading to the back of the till point nonchalantly said ?what?s the matter?? While screwing her face up like we were stupid, my mum expressed her views and asked to speak to the manager because again, the response was meh. The manager (Lily) appeared and instantly addressed my mum like a child accosted by a headteacher stating ?I?ve not come down here because I?ve been called I?ve come down here because I?ve heard YOU shouting? another employee appeared, sneering and grimacing and I commented how rude she had been when I smiled at her earlier on the shop floor, she carried on walking off as if to say ?whatever!? Whilst this was unfolding, an elderly lady and her daughter began having a loud disagreement with a cashier (separate to the one that had served us) about lack of manners when asking for payment - the cashier, a younger girl, was arguing back with the lady and her daughter. The daughter turned to my mum and said ?they?re all the same in here love, the only one whose nice is the lady who works in the cafe? after they had walked out, the same cashier stood looking me and my mum up and down, cutting her eye, as was the manager Lily, I told her it was no way to deal with a customer complaint by jumping to the defence and laying blame on a customer before even finding facts. My mum asked the other cashier why she was getting involved and passing comment when she had just had a complaint made about her, she shrugged back. The matter was not resolved by the time we left the store, despite Lily apologising and promising to ?look into it? (she obviously had no intention of looking into anything because no details were taken to get back to us) after contacting customer services via email, 5 days later we have chased them again to ask for a reply, to which we have been told the store said our behaviour was of a kind that wouldn?t be tolerated in store and a member of staff was approached outside of her shift which has been reported. Very accusatory. I returned to pick a bottle up I had left on the side at which point other shop floor staff had appeared, milling around giggling like it was the daily entertainment. This company does not value the opinions of its customers at all - don?t know why I bothered shopping with them again after a rigmarole with a faulty bed 3 weeks ago (that?s another story) they are quick to take peoples money but couldn?t care less about decent service. You speak up as a dissatisfied customer and get accused of verbal abuse, what?s the point of customer feedback when it?s covered up with lies? It is the last time Dunelm will get a penny from me.
