The owner and his wife are the worst people I ever worked with. They will hire and then threaten the worker if the worker wants to leave the job due to the harassment at the chip stop by the owner.

Amazing especially if your coeliac on Tuesdays and Saturdays they offer gluten free options. Where batter is completely fine and got separate fryers and also separate workspace and also packaging paper as well separate. The staff are very lovely too !!!

Gone right downhill, service is poor. Can wait 10 to 15 min just for sausage and chips. Literally just been in , completely missed off a large sausage. Delivery food gets priority everytime

Food is decent but takes an absolute age to get served in person, even when you have a simple order.
As others have said they seem to prioritise their online orders over the poor sod who has taken the time & effort to go there in person.

Always used this chip shop but last nights food was worse chip shop meal we have ever had. We asked for 1 mixed meat kebab and mixed meat and chips... server got the order wrong in the first instance ... the pitta bread was stale, salad wasn't fresh and chips under cooked. Under staffed. We won't be going again!

We have used chipstop for many years. Always had great food but tonight's food was the probably the worst fish and chips I've ever had. Period.
Firstly my Mother waited 50 mins for the food...and the manager had the cheek to offer a bottle of coke in condolence? Terrible service!
Then the chips were full of oil, disgusting and heavy. The doner kebab was dry with no flavour.
Fish was tasteless. You missed out multiple things from the order including salads, sauces and curry sauce.
I don't think we will be coming here again. Certainly gone downhill.

Small portion of chips chicken Danica poor standards flatbread was horrible hard not wrapped properly chapters too small I have for a large they forgot my pop they forgot my friend's chips absolutely disgusted I write that 0 stars

Had the chicken donner meat and it was dry as a bone and burnt on the outside, I had ordered this around 5.30 pm so I'm sure this should be very fresh but it tasted like yesterday's left over meat, terrible, you should be ashamed of yourselves serving food like that
