Went to this shop as they have payzone as I wanted a Swift pay as you go card. Only excepted cash or has to spend over £15 on other goods then you could use your card on payzone. So had to get cash out from machine in store which cost £1.75, I just wanted a £10 swift pay as you go card. The owner sold me paysafe £10 voucher. It wasn't until I got home I realised he had made an error, went back to complain. He started shouting at me and said I wanted a paysafe, Swift Pay As Go sounds nothing like Paysafe, then he said I have CCTV of you saying paysafe three times , so I challenged him to show me, he refused and started shouting again. I had to leave the shop as he was becoming abusive. Be warned never use this shop.

I've been a regular customer at Birchwood for a while now and my experience has been quite disappointing. While the owner was pleasant when I first started coming here, even his service and attitude took a sharp decline over time. The employees are consistently rude, unpleasant, and arrogant. It's clear that customer service is not a priority here.Furthermore, I had an unfortunate encounter with the owner when I tried to make a purchase with a card that had no contactless or chip payment method. Despite being a frequent visitor to the store, he refused to allow the transaction, claiming a previous bad experience with card back charges. This incident left me frustrated, especially considering the amount was just £8.I hope that Birchwood can improve its customer service and reconsider its policy regarding card payments, as it's essential for a neighborhood convenience store to be welcoming and accommodating to its loyal patrons.

Rude , unfriendly, arrogant and black people not welcome. Very warm, welcoming and friendly towards white customers. I will spend my money elsewhere. If you oppose bigotry, don't use this store.

Have to thank the owner of this shop I left some money on the counter and by the off chance I went in the following day to see if any money had been handed in and luckily the owner said yes. Thank you for your honesty

Do not go near this place, i agree with the last review about the guy being rude, they have no idea how to handle parcels and kept interupting me when i was trying to explain..NEVER AGAIN..Find somewhere else..

SHOCKING ? THE GUY BEHIND THE TILL IS VERY RUDE AND ARROGANT WOULD NOT LET ME PAY BY VISA CARD FOR LOTTERY UNLESS THE TOTAL TRANSACTION WAS OVER £5. THE CLEANINESS OF THE STORE IS DISGRACEFUL TOO, THERE IS A LOT OF LITTER IN AND AROUND THE STORE. WILL BE ESCALATING IT TO TRADING STANDARDS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITY ? WOLVERHAMPTON COUNCIL. ZERO STARS FROM ME.
