Stood waiting to be seated whilst staff just chatted away. Sat myself at a table as the restaurant was empty, asked for menus and was told to wait again to be seated?.. woman who served us was necessarily rude but wasn?t exactly friendly. Staff cleared all other tables apart from ours. Ended up having to find the waitress to ask to pay. Food was disappointing to say the least.

Sorry to say ,but very disappointed ?, our second time here for Christmas dinner, first time amazing,this year so disappointing,our table booked for 12.15 , wasn't served our dinner until 13.40, we complained and had a complementary drink on the house,other families was complaining to because of children getting hungry and fed up, When finally got served dinner it wasn't anything special,no taste,looked like a microwave dinner, plate swimming in gravy.Sorry Ridgacre you've lost our costume for Christmas dinner forever.

I am very disappointed with the service of this restaurant. I heard multiple racial slurs by not one but two members of staff. I had complained to the manager and my complaint was brushed off. I knew from then that I needed to leave. When I was about to leave, my food had arrived so I had tried a fry before I left but it was cold after waiting over an hour for my course. I would not recommend this restaurant, the only thing I would recommend is that they were shut down.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. I arranged for a few adults in supported care to have a Christmas meal together and unfortunately one individual suffers with complex disabilities and was unable to attend on the day. We asked if we could collect the food and deliver they refused and then when we requested a refund they also refused. This is disgusting the poor gentlemen has now wasted money and doesn't get a Christmas meal that he has paid for. I will never use this pub for any of our events/gatherings. Disgusting service with no empathy or understanding of people with disabilities.

Work Christmas party, very disappointing. Ordered from main menu, fish and chips. Not what was on menu. Arrived on plate with 2 pieces of small battered frozen fish, was mushy inside. Also had no bap with soup for starter.
Ordered Turkey dinner, was also disgusted as was sliced sandwich turkey meat, not fresh carved turkey. Stuffing was awful, frozen roasts and Yorkshire puds. Didn't eat my dinner,would not recommend it!!
No condiments provided and also poor service for extra drinks.
Not value for money, found cutlery filthy too.
Would not recommend!!
Looking at other meals my colleagues ordered for mains, I was not impressed.

We were staying at the Premier Inn next door. We thought we would treat ourselves to breakfast. Big mistake. The continental breakfast was appalling. Black bananas, no fresh fruit, no croissants. I had to ask for milk for the cereal and more croissants ( which eventually arrived after a grumbling response), I dare not ask for fresh fruit! Apparently, they were having a stock problem! But they still charged the full amount. To be fair, most of the cooked food was hot, sausage delicious. But bacon cold. I gave up. Don't go unless you are prepared for disappointment. We won't be going back.

Ordered a £3.50 bowl of 'skin on fries'.
But what i got given was a tiny bowl containing approx' a dozen 'french fries' style chips. Rip off!!!

I had the Sunday roast and have to say i loved it. I was in quite a large party and everybody enjoyed their meals.
