I'm waiting in the queue at the moment 5 people before me 1 teller on 2 empty teller spaces been waiting 15mins so far and the queue hasn't moved what a shambles this bank is if it wasn't such a hassle I would change banks.

Santander Bank - West Bromwich
I visited Santander Bank today to resolve some issues with my online banking. After waiting approximately 40 minutes I was seen by a staff member named Sabita. From the beginning of our conversation I found the interaction frustrating. While I was explaining my concerns Sabita was typing constantly on her keyboard. This gave the impression she was not fully listening although she insisted she was.
I explained that I was trying to locate certain transactions dating back to 2016 and asked whether the bank retained records from that period. I also raised a separate concern but throughout our conversation Sabita frequently interrupted or spoke over me. I politely asked her not to speak over me and inquired whether she was in a hurry as her manner suggested she was rushing.
At one point I clearly stated that I had not recently requested any bank statements over the phone. However Sabita informed me that someone had which was very concerning. She said she would follow up with head office to find out who made the request but she continued speaking rapidly and typing throughout which made it difficult to engage meaningfully.
When I tried to clarify my concerns her responses often didn?t address my actual questions. Instead she repeated information that wasn?t relevant. When I pointed this out she accused me of not allowing her to explain which felt unfair as I could barely get a word in.
Eventually I stopped asking questions altogether feeling increasingly upset and frustrated. I thanked her and left only to realise that the bank had closed at 3 p.m and I had entered at 2.20 p.m. It then became clear why she had seemed in a rush the branch was technically already closed.
I left the bank feeling extremely disappointed and upset. As a self-employed professional who works with customers daily I would never dream of treating clients the way I was treated. I hold accounts with four other banks and am now seriously considering closing my accounts with Santander. I do not expect nor will I accept being spoken to in the manner I experienced today.

Waste of time terrible staff, horrible customer service and the staff aren?t helpful at all also i?d like to add very bad waiting time I wouldn?t recommend santander at all.

Today Monday 4 November only 1 person in the cashier and you no all ways waiting for 15.20 minutes then been seen to pay my mortgage this lady said we?re is the ACCOUNT holder I said I been paying last 20 years I no ever one in this bank no one else told me this she telling me am the manager of this bank ?then I called my wife over??this Asian lady manager thinks am the best talking rubbish ? she thinks am the boss?..I rather have white manager than her ?.. sorry to say I am Asian myself too but not has Big head like this lady she thinks am the 1

Saturdays are so busy and unfortunately the front desk isn't manned so you have to wait in the queue. Most things can be done online but when you work during the week, there's no option but to wait!

Made it into the bank at 2:57pm before the bank closed, but someone before me forgot their card in the reader, ran out to get them so she could get it and the security guard that watched me walk inyhe first time wouldn't let me back in to finish what I went in there for

Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Went on Sat Nov 10th with a couple of awkward questions about my account and everything was dealt with within 20 minutes. Would post staff names but a breach of privacy. Excellent.

Fantastic customer service! Staff are excellent, welcoming and are there to help. The ATMs have been updated and there is an IPAD you can use to log onto your online banking. I am really impressed with Santander since I switched from Natwest a few months ago. Well done Santander!
