You can find some good items in here, a lot of random things you wouldn't normally find in the big supermarkets, and generally great prices.
On my most recent visit this week, one of the staff seemed to be struggling to handle the self-service queue. Asked if I was paying by card, and called me over only for me to find no available till and having to go back. Confusing stuff.

Visited this Poundland quite a few times. It is quite small but seems to have all you need. Bit short on staff most the time so you got to wonder around to look for what you need. Cashier was quite helping with filling the gas in the balloon.

Although the staff are friendly, the head office seems to try to force people to pay for £1.50 carrier bags as they (looks like purposely) fail to arrange 30p bags delivery causing inconvenience to clients and the staff.

A really poorly run Poundland brought a basket full of shopping and when I took it to the counter it was self service only in the past I've had trouble with Poundland self service tills and this was the same first time I tried the member of staff had to reset the till I tried again the same thing happened again so I put the shopping down and walked out one piece of advice Poundland get rid of all the self service tills you make millions a year in your store's invest in real people to serve customers it would be a lot quicker

Poor customer service. No acknowledgement, greeting or smile from cashier. Went to buy 2 Cadbury crème eggs when I was referred by staff member to the till which is manned by a human staff. This staff member was rude, lazy and ignorant. I went up to her said hi she never replied then when I gave her the 2 crème eggs she refused to take them from my hands to scan for whatever reason and started rolling her eyes with body language attention elsewhere and poor customer service. Never said thanks for the purchase. She clearly looked miserable in her job but seriously you get paid to put up a happy front! Customer service what?s that Poundland?

Absolutely always terrible customer service in every time I have been in. The worst one is a large gentleman with glasses so rude. I will travel to use poundland from now on
