I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at the West Bromwich Halifax branch. After losing my ATM card, I went there and showed my ID to request cash or a transfer to my other account. However, the staff refused to transfer money or give me any cash, saying the maximum amount they could give was only £100. When I asked if they could help me set up online banking so I could access my money, they initially told me to do it myself. Only after I insisted did they start the process, saying a code would be sent to my home address and I?d have to wait one week for a new card and another week for the online banking code. This is completely unacceptable ? I needed access to my money immediately, showed all my ID, and yet nothing was done to help me in the moment. The staff were unhelpful and gave me no real solution. I rate this service a 0 out of 10. Because of this awful experience, I have decided to transfer all my funds to Barclays and close my Halifax account. Halifax clearly needs to improve their customer service and accessibility.

Tried phoning Halifax , they said sorry no one available. Had a simple transaction, still no one available, so going to
Draw all money out and go out .

I just want to tell a Manager from Halifax, West Bromwich some stuff in this branch, I don?t know they are from Pakistan or India. They are very racist and they don?t do good job for the people they doesn?t matter what is it gonna be a problem for this branch, when people asking for something they don?t care I don?t recommend any people to go into this branch in West bromwich

Went here to do a relatively quick transaction, however the queue was very big for a Saturday morning. Some people in there struggle with basic banking and the staff have to pair up to get simple transactions to make sense for them. The reason for this was, in one case, lack of basic English so one staff member was speaking in the mother tongue of the customer and then translating that to the other staff member so it became a rather disconcerting and convoluted process. There are self service points for withdrawals and another point for deposits. The branch is quite spacious and generally the staff are friendly and helpful.

don't normally have a problem here, but why all halifaxes have decided to only have one paying in machine is beyond me! sometimes I've waited ages!!! people putting a great wad of cash in bit at a time, people not really understanding what to do!

Staff are not very happy. I've been turned away when I wanted to pay in coins. Apparently I need to call in and have an appointment to pay money in to my own account. Goodbye Halifax, hello Nationwide!

I received a lot of help from Hafsa and she even told me ways to save money on my purchases and phone contract bill. I could tell she had a lot of in-depth knowledge regarding savings accounts. She made my experience at Halifax a nice one and it was nice to speak to pleasant member of staff!
