Rogue and Incompetent. Apparently the items we bought should not have been available for sale but were sold it regardless. We were only informed seven days after we purchased the item and less then an hour before the items were scheduled to be delivered that we would not be getting the items we had paid for. We were later informed that the company has a seven day cooling off period. We were not informed of this at the point of sale even though there were three staff members involved in the purchase or at any point during the 7 days following this. We were only informed by phone call when the delivery was halted by orders of ?Head Office?. There was no correspondence by email to let us know of any issues. Clearly, there are serious communication and staff training issues in this store as funds were taken from bank account at the store at point of sale and it took a week to be informed of the incorrect sale, only on receiving a phone call from the store manager the day after the delivery was due to take place were we informed of the 7 day cooling off period. No sales staff made us aware of a cooling off period at any point. Absolutely appalling customer service. We were given our money back and an apology but did not receive the goods we paid for. This does not compensate for the time wasted clearing and cleaning rooms, arranging transportation and waiting for phone calls when under the impression the delivery would be going ahead as planned. Simply not good enough. Will not be visiting Bensons for Beds again due to our unacceptable experience of incompetent staff and badly managed store, appalling communication and rogue sales practices. If possible, would be giving a 0 rating.

Very very poor. Do not buy from here. Ordered 3 matresses paid in advance and was advised of a 3 week lead time to get them in stock.
12 hrs before delivery they advise one of the matresses are missing. What a shoddy Company. How about they checked the delivery from their supplier beforehand and actually did something about it before the delivery date!
Beware they will take your money and have no care for the customer afterwards!
They obviously do not train their staff and are just interested in taking money off people upfront.

Bensons delivered the wrong color bed!!! 12 weeks wait time originally + another 12 weeks to replace.
This is obviously fulfilled by Chinese manufacturers with a mark up. No support for the local economy.
Both deliveries damaged my property. Which they acknowledge but their response is unsatisfactory.
Throughout the process, Bensons have handled this terribly!
LED lights stopped working on the bed frame. Expect 12 week lead time for those as well as they dont hold spares!!!
Shocking. I don't know how the firm survives with the shocking service at ALL stages!
If I am not contacted to rectify the damages to my property I will write a public review and go to the FHIO ombudsman.

If the whole experience had been as good as the purchases the store and the [eventual] delivery then everything would be wonderful. The length of time it took to deliver (+2 months) and the fact that a delivery was cancelled less than 24h before it should have been completed, because Benson?s can?t manage your stock properly, means we?ll buy direct from a manufacturer next time.

Myself and my partner are moving into our first place. Gaynor was very attentive throughout the visit but gave us time to look everything over that we needed to. We were able to try out different mattresses to ensure we were supported.

Ordered mattress well over £1000 and paid for delivery and set up where they will take bed to chosen room and unpack and take away packaging. They didn?t they dropped the box in the room, made dirty my new carpet given a leaflet and told to set the bed up follow this and walked off. Upon a few back and forward they then agreed to open up and lay the bed out and take the mess which is what they should of done from the start

I'm a big guy and this was pointed out to me by one of your competitors,so I left that store immediately and walked into your store.
The first thing that struck me was the happy welcoming I received from the assistant manager, he introduced himself and then went onto say if there's anything I need help with then just ask, I responded by asking him to show me the mechanical bed frames which he obliged. I questioned him quite riggerously with each question he responded positively always thinking what would be the best options for me and my condition which automatically put me at ease. He explained the different frames, mattresses and also pillow combination to suit me which I thought was very good. He wasn't just selling me a bed but more importantly selling me a experience. The whole transaction was dealt with very promptly and without any issues and I would happily recommend your store to friends and family for any future purchases. Thanks again

Unfortunately the logistics of arranging for products to be delivered was hampered with delays; from items not in stock, missing original delivery date, miscommunication, simple advice missed by sales person about when purchasing product. The list goes on, in total a 5 week delivery with the right mattress took more than 3 months to be delivered - not a good experience which caused a lot of stress and destress however; the delivery team did a great job which cannot be faulted.
