The customer service is awful! Dave is so rude, never returning after my experience. Staff spend more time chatting to each other rather than helping their customers.

I have order the kitchen drawers, I have received wrong items for the first time, worktop was shorter in length than it supposed to be. It took 45 days to get those in first place and it came different in size than expected. Also 2 items were missing and I had no idea until carpenter came and mentioned this to me. Then I placed a return order and again they didn?t show up to pick up stuff. Then I myself went to wednesbury BnQ to return the stuff as it was lying in the my living room for 2 weeks. Amy who was manager at that day she received the return and wrote a remarks on the order that items has been received.
Again I placed a drawer set that supposed to came in first order. Those came in damaged boxes. Didn?t receive the refund of the first order from last 2 weeks. This whole order, return and refund (which is not done so far) took more than 2 months.
Whenever I called, everyone says that you gonna get refund with in 24-48 hours.
I AM DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE AND WON?T ORDER OR RECOMMEND TO ORDER FROM YOU GUYS.

Rude and awful customer service. Brought a toilet on the advice of one of their staff after giving them dimensions ect. Refused for it to be exchanged despite still being in its packaging. Wouldn?t listen and just cut me off everytime I tried to explain. Will go elsewhere next time

Went to B&Q for some paint for our new home, had a rough idea of colours we wanted but wasn't 100% sure. Karen on the paint tills was happy to help straight away, she knew exactly what colours would work together to give the perfect look, was happy to give us some samples and show us what they'd be like once dry. She even managed to get us a cheaper alternative in the Valspar paint which they mix there and then for you. Saved us a fortune and got us to sign up for the loyalty programme that gets even more discounts. Thanks for your help, Karen.

I cannot comprehend how helpful a member of staff named Karen on decor was with me today. I?m in the middle of renovating my cottage, and Karen has practically helped design my house decor. She knew exactly what style I was looking for and she gave me such great ideas. If only all retail staff were as lovely and helpful as Karen shopping would be a much better experience. I say the world needs more Karen !!!??

I was in B&Q Wednesbury today (20 July 2025) at 13:35 buying tiles (this is my receipt time. I needed help, and two young girls working there tried to contact the woman responsible for the tile section, Karen. However, when Karen arrived, instead of helping me she randomly saw her friend, hugged her, and started having a personal conversation right there while the young staff were trying to speak with her through their headphones to assist customers.
She completely ignored them and ignored me waiting for help. It was obvious she didn?t care about her job or the customers waiting. This behaviour made me very late for my work schedule and left me extremely disappointed. People like this do not deserve to serve the public if they cannot do their basic responsibilities.
I called the manager after this incident and gave her name (Karen), and they said they would deal with it. I don?t know what actions will be taken but I hope management checks CCTV footage and listens to staff communication at that exact time and date to confirm everything I am saying is true.
To be clear, she was not speaking to a customer ? it was her friend she hugged and chatted with for an unprofessional amount of time. Customers do not get hugged by staff like that.
Completely unacceptable and disappointing experience.

Absolutely a joke, there customer services need full training on how to make sure they give correct information to their customers instead of filling up with lies. Waist of space and time purchasing from online. I have to make 3 calls to be told that my order is cancelled and won't be coming in today. Worst customer experience of my life. Customer services will wash there hands off by simpy putting the blame on store.. I would strongly recommend don't buy online as there inventory system is broken...?
