Used to love W H Smith. Such a shame that its allmost empty of customers most days. Hope it doesn't close as the staff are nice people. The upstairs is now closed off, i guess its cheaper to get books, CD's elsewhere. With fewer people buying newspapers it looks dire for places like Smiths.

Nice and friendly staff. Although not a variety of things but you don't expect much from newspaper shops and convenience stores. So it is pretty good. Also gives reward in Vodafone app.

It is too expensive you can buy cheaper elsewhere especially the books. As for the lotto machine it is broken more often than its working, if the 1 at Sutton is broken they offer u a ticket in the form of a till receipt, at walsall a unpleasant staff member just says its broken.

It?s about time this shop was left in the past, it can?t possibly be turning a profit. Absolute daylight robbery the prices of the goods here. If you want to pay over the odds for goods shop here if you want bargains don?t bother

For books, they have a fair collection of what the in thing is at this moment in time. But more variety down the road at the other book store.Stationary wise, they have the essentials. But again, more variety at another store in town.Yet if you need a one stop shop. Head here!

Whenever I visit either Birmingham or Walsall the shop we go into is WHSmith s we my family tend to buy a few magazines eg . Gardening, Sewing, Airfix model magazines. Both shops at both the locations are well stocked with stationery, books,. Newspapers, magazines oh dear the list is endless,I like a good look around in the stores of my choice. And newsagents and hobby shops are top of my list. WHSmith is a prominent store and can easily be found in both locations. Both are in or just of the main high street. Near to car parks, bus stations or bus routes. Staff in the stores are helpful, and polite. If you are after a certain item and can't find it a member of staff can usually point you in the right direction.

Staff were friendly and very helpful despite it being minutes away from closing time. As joyful an experience you could expect, especially for a Sticky Note and pen addict like myself, lol.

Over priced products that you buy from other retailers for a fraction of price. Staff who more interested in talking to each other than engaging with customers and trying push chocolate at counter.

Love this shop Abit fiddly to get around the narrow aisles but the smell of all those books and magazines, priceless.
