Please, if you?re going to serve tea with the teabag left in, do give a saucer so we can have a place to discard used teabag and not expect customer to walk over to the trashbin to discard.
When I asked for a plate I received a rather rude muttering and told to use the bin. Another customer commented we were expected to drip the teabag across the floor to throw away!
And please, wipe the tables. They are sticky and covered in crumbs. I watched other customers wipe their table with serviettes prior to sitting.
It?s a shame to experience this. I?ve visited the cafe a couple of times before. Customer service has been nice. It?s is such a lovely setting, but the tables have always been unclean?..

Really good staff, very helpful, food is good, can't fault it, but maybe a little bit pricey.
No dogs allowed inside the cafe, although there is an outside area to sit with your dog

Friendly staff and you can get food and drinks here. Also they do ice cream on nice days which is a bonus

Really disappointed with this cafe. For a small hot chocolate and I mean SMALL it was £3.30. You can get double the amount and a lot nicer at a costa or Starbucks. Whilst I get they?re a small business, the hot chocolate didn?t even taste nice. It was really bitter and I literally had about 250/300 ml in my regular size cup as they?d ran out of small cups. For that price I?d expect a lot more. I will however say the fresh cakes were lovely and actually cost me less than the drink. They really need to look at the quality of ingredients they?re serving if they are going to charge that much. Several people were coming up whilst I was waiting asking why they had half a cup of their drink order only to be told that?s what a small is. I also waited about 20 mins for the 3 small hot chocolates which is excessive considering I was served within a couple of minutes so there was only 2 orders in front of me.

Cozy is the word. Could be filled up with everyone trying to get away from the cold and being the only cafe around the Arboretum.

Great place to walk, eat, had chicken ceaser salad. Great dish, value for money, and healthy. The best dish on menu, tried others but this one is best value with coffee. Back soon.

Spent a couple of hours in the arboretum. Had a lovely walk, it wasn't too crowded, really enjoyed it. Then called in the visitor centre café. Where we enjoy a snack and a cuppa. Would recommend it to all.

Friendly staff. Not much cheese on cheesy chips. Nice place to sit outside and watch the world go by. Dogs only allowed outside.

Sorry I wish I could recommend you but...we came to the splash pad today, with our grandchildren one 15 months and one 10 years. They had great fun but needless to say we were all soaked to the skin, no problem with that as I anticipated a soaking. I came prepared with towels and dry clothes, however, there was nowhere appropriate to change especially an adult. When I asked about changing facilities I was directed to the toilets which were extremely busy and filthy. I changed my 10 year old in there but couldn't use a toilet stall so had to dress her next to the only sink provided and told her to stand on her shoes not the dirty floor while I did so. I myself had to walk the mile trek back to our car dripping wet and change between two open doors. Now I appreciate it was a very sunny day and the splash pad was extremely busy but why oh why do planners never anticipate that these things will be used and upgrade they're facilities to reflect that usage. I'm afraid that although the children enjoyed their 45 minutes it really wasn't worth me having a soggy bottom for the rest of the day. Needless to say we won't be coming back till facilities are improved.
