Had to meet someone to pick something up and decided to have a quick pint while we were there, the place is now much busier than it has ever been, it is kind of a sports bar now with some cinema seating in front of a big screen that plays pretty much every big game.The service was efficient even though it was very busy and the staff were very attentive.The initial price was quite high but if you are a village member there is a 25% discount that brings drinks down to a reasonable price, just make sure you show your membership.

Tiffany is always happy to help in the memberships. Lindsey is absolutely fabulous in cleaning! Can always tell when she is on.And Julie is super good at handling that reception, and the members!

Had a rough experience at the Village Hotel over a lost iPad worth £800. Left it in January, and when I came back, front desk employee Kay was less than helpful. Instead of checking, she just said it might be gone because I took too long. Really disappointing attitude and service. Was expecting better care for guests' stuff and some basic kindness. Hope they sort this out for future guests.

1 star too many!I paid for the hotel a few days ago. I turned up at the hotel at 10pm last night to check in for my one night stay, the man on reception was clicking away on his computer and said nothing to me. His 2 colleagues then came, more clicking around and no speaking then they said we've just booked you in at Holiday Inn across the road!I asked why to be told they have no rooms available. Blaming a system error.Due to it being 2230 and being tired by now I just went across the road who only had a twin room for me even though I'd paid a double at Village.Village will not give a full refund as I accepted their offer, even though they paid for the hotel across the street without asking me.Unbelievable service, don't risk coming here!

If you are working away and need a quiet bolthole, do not book this place. It was noisy, crowded, and the receptionist just looked at you like you are an annoyance.As soon as I got there I wanted to leave. The menu is very limited so had to order in. Didn't feel comfortable to try and enjoy facilities. Place was packed!

Wonderful hotel to stay in, rooms clean and tidy. Bed was amazing. Lively hotel, bar service was a bit slow but staff friendly. Overall I would highly recommend .
