I cannot even give this place any stars if there was a minus option I?d opt for that but I had to otherwise I couldn?t post it. Checked into a single bed and a bunk bed bedroom for my two children and I baring in mind one of them should be in a cot. The mattresses were worse than a prison cell. Moved into a ?better? room with a double and a single bed (still no cot) upon arriving in the room it stank, had not been cleaned, the toilet had pee stains, my desk was sticky, there was something off in the fridge (growing mould). I HAD TO BLEACH THE PLACE BEFORE GETTING COMFORTABLE WITH MY CHILDREN. The lift does not work, I had to bring my own hoover as the carpet is filth. Glass was broken in my room despite me telling the house keeper (JOY) who said she?d come once she finishes hoovering the corridor, I came back outside and watched as she left WITHOUT CLEANING UP THE GLASS. This is despicable as my children could have been seriously hurt. Upon asking the receptionist (KEIRA) for the managers details she was very rude, dismissive, sarcastic and obviously she refused to give me the details including the managers name or let me know when the manager will be in. I cannot stress enough how appalling this place is, is beyond dirty, people smoking weed in their rooms, outside my window is full of butts, rude staff, useless housekeepers who cannot even clean a simple bathroom and a room which takes less than 20 minutes to do. Not to mention she allowed a guest to record me but I don?t care it?s for HER OWN SAFETY!

This hotel is full of refugee and homeless and crack heads the cleaners use mops to clean the carpets just to get rid off the damp smellAll the staff are rude and 0% professionalAnd it is strange that the cleaners live in the hotelEvery night I stayed there I was savagley bitten by bed bugsWhen I tried to make food I saw multiple cockroach in the roomsThe standard of condition of the building its past its 50th birthday I would never stay there againThe room furniture has well past repairThe best thing to do is leave the building immediately and never turn backIt should be closed down and demolished as the building is past the point of repairIf you want to be bitten this is the hotel for youIt's a waste of space and is past the run down point100% avoid

Very basic, room shabby but clean some refurbishment is being done. Staff very helpful and pleasant, free parking and WiFi a bonus. Popular with contractors.There is a restaurant next door open evenings.If looking for cheap overnight stay it's OK. Lift out of order for sometime apparently.

Stay away from this hotel. Its disgusting and filthy. Carpets stink your hands stick to the rails and doors. The bed was stained all over. I walked out and stayed in my car. Then to top this dirty hotel if you do not register your car they have a scam called ocean parking which fines you 100 pounds if your car is not registered. Even if you are staying with a guest they try to fine you and harrass you until you pay. No doubt its a scam that runs side by side with the hotel. For your sanity pay 20 pounds more and stop at a premiere inn or travel lodge.

We're do I start, I checked in went to our room, came back down, got refund and went to a Travelodge. Absolutely disgusting experience within the 5 minutes we was there, ID at check in, lift out of order & after reading other reviews from years ago probs never been working lol, cobwebs on way to room, halls, stairs, door frames everything was horrendous gave me & my wife the ebbey geebies it was that gross, room so outdated with the mattress way bigger than the bed, ripped sheets the list goes on but avoid at all costs if I was any of you looking to book.

Carpet stinks, receptionist is rude, lift is out of order, and walls are full of stains. They asked me for an ID, nobody does in the UK. He said we need to ask it due to past incidents, must not be of good repute.

Meeting room 4 was poor and under equipped. Front of hotel looked like a building site. Reception was clean but not welcoming. Lots of Homeless and Migrant people. No public toilets. Car park had glass everywhere. Would not recommend anyone to stop there as I think it maybe unsafe of a night time.

Absolutely awful! Lift not working. Rooms smelt bad and tiny. Mattress terrible. Very noisy as they were Installing fridges and washing machines. Stayed 5 minutes and left!

I stayed here with my mother as we were attending a concert at Villa Park on 16th June 2023. We had originally booked a hotel nearer to the venue but that hotel cancelled less than a week before so we panic booked this hotel as it was cheap and a 15 min drive from Villa Park. I did not check any reviews prior to bookings. I paid in full and then later checked reviews and it made me very worried. However we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel front could do with a little TLC but there was ample parking at the hotel which is free, as long as you put your registration number into the table on the reception desk. I was pointed straight to this upon check in. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. We were told our room was on the 3rd floor and of course the lift is broken so it was a long wall with our cases. The room was clean and fine for us. The bed was comfortable and big. There was a large TV and a fan on the wall. There was even a fridge/freezer in the room so we could keep our food chilled for when we got back. The bathroom was clean. We saw a lot of staff throughout our stay and there seemed to constantly be cleaners cleaning the rooms. The gentleman on reception at check out was very friendly. On a poster in reception was the name of a local taxi firm, Ablewell Taxis, who were very efficient and professional. I would definitely recommend them if you are to stay here and need a taxi. I would say don't let the bad reviews put you off. It was a clean room and for only £60, we have no complaints. Could just do with a little freshening up.

New parking system which is rediculous!!! You would only park there to stay at the hotel or eat and drink at the Broadway Bar & grill so this has purely been introduced to throw regulars off and issue Parking Charge Notices. Shame on this business, I will not be going there again!! There are others places to stay, drink and eat in Walsall do do not put this risk on people who just want a stressfree life. Avoid at all costs!!!!
