After many years, I've started to use the Morrisons Walsall branch again. The difference between it then and now is appalling. The range of products has diminished, and there appears to be only a few staff working at any time. The hostile and unhelpful attitude of the lady serving behind the counter where the newspapers and tobacco are sold toward a customer who wanted some help with an overcharge on his groceries receipt was unbelievable. Instead of fetching a colleague who could help him, she told him repeatedly with growing impatience that she couldn't help as she had enough to do, and, when he gave up and left, called after him that he could shake his head all he liked. After he left, she made loud, indiscreet remarks to the people she was serving about 'these ignorant people' (he was an Asian). I can't believe Morrisons would employ someone so rude, unhelpful and so bigoted and prejudiced.

They don't bother to update the goddamn uber eats app so you order things that they don't have and your time gets wasted.

You will need a pound coin to park here, that they take off your shopping. As a visitor out of town, I had no change so this was annoying. Produce is a lot cheaper than the USA.

Lichfield Street, Morrisons is an OK store. The majority of items that you expect to find, you shall. However, when it comes to the cooked meats, the majority of the time, look off colour, which isn't good.
The crisps section, the crisps/crisps package, are ALWAYS crushed. The staff cram every item they can to fit the shelf, making them all crushed.
Some would say, "Why does this matter?" Well, when the price for crisps has shot up, you expect to buy them in a condition where they aren't crushed. (Just my opinion).
The self check out area is a nightmare as it is, without certain staff pointing out to customers that they need to pay for this, pay for that, when infact the customer has not even finished scanning their items.
Morrisons staffing needs to put more trust in to their customers, and stop searching for problems.

"Make sure you scan that now," quite abruptly, whilst ensuring to stand there watching you do that. Again, it's about trusting your customer.
Lastly, there are a few staff that work here that have a chip on their shoulder, and think they own the premises. I understand that you have a job to do, and you have more than likely been requested to do certain things by your boss (manager).
However, within this business field, respect and customer service is everything, and with some staff here, that simply isn't there. The attitudes are given, and when I or other customers I have seen have given attitude back, those staff members DO NOT like It.
The end hall is, I'm at morrisons to shop. - - - NOT to be treated like I'll steal off your shelves or self checkouts.
I am there to buy good products, not crushed items or food that looks gone off.
P.s . The other staff members who work here are amazing and will go above and beyond for you.

Parking and charging my car at genie point was a nightmare. 2 charging points didn?t work, had to call genie point, took ages to find out that only one charger worked but was in use, hung around as new to Walsall and needed to charge my car. Tried to pay for parking: one machine was out of order, one machine where the cash machines (which were also not working) were didn?t allow my bank card to be inserted as the slot was narrowed/wedged, the third machine didn?t acknowledge my cards and kept getting to processing payment and cancelling despite different cards and multiple attempts. My kid was competing at the baths and this was very stressful. I made purchases at Morrisons over the weekend and I hope that will be taken into account!
I tried to pay online but couldn?t find Walsall location online on euro car parks website. Nightmare!

Always helpful staff on hand. Cash point is hit and miss. Been out of service for 3 weeks now. Parking is chargeable.

Be careful of offers, very often the offer price is not reflected on your till receipt, totally unacceptable. Bakery items very expensive and not particularly good. Very few manned checkouts. Parking is charged for. Not an e joyable experience at all.
