I have an Ideal Jessica saddle which my horse Purdy and I absolutely love. As soon as she put it on, she felt like a different horse and has not looked back since.This is my second Ideal saddle, my first, equally loved belonged to my now retired Dutch horse oscar.I recently contacted Ideal as I had lost one of the name pins on the pommel.They were lovely to deal with and Tracey asked me to email my address and sent it out that evening.I?m an so impressed with the personal service and aftercare. Their customer service is very refreshing. Well done guys. Anna

I was sold a saddle that didn't fit my horse well, it wasn't branded ideal even though I contacted ideal wanting an ideal saddle (through a recommended saddle fitter), and resulted in soundness issues in a very valuable young warmblood mare. I had to sell the saddle and I wrote to ideal to tell them my experience, and they couldn't care less. It was an expensive saddle almost 3k euros. Very disappointing.

Appalling. Please read the following which had to be emailed. To no avail - DO NOT USEI had Rebecca thinford (County Durham) come out to take measurements for my horse in August. There was a delay in getting my saddle and when it was finally delivered the colours requested were completely wrong. I raised this with her, she alleged that she spoke with yourselves to try and rectify this as it wasn?t what I asked for - you declined to alter it free of charge and the amount you quoted to have it amended was extortionate as it would have involved basically taking it all apart. I was largely unhappy with this at the time however having waited already 3 months I was in need of a correctly fitting saddle. Therefore, I agreed with Rebecca that I would pay less , around £350 less. Within 2-3 months of riding my horse in the saddle his back was increasingly sore , I had a physio out and two saddle fitters who stated that the saddle did not fit the horse and it was unlikely to ever have, due to the tree not fitting his frame. My horse had 3 weeks off for this and another physio session. I informed Rebecca who stated she would try a new saddle and gave me one to lend. Subsequently, the lent saddle is also ideal and has also caused back pain again and therefore I have been unable to use this.This morning I spoke with rebecca on the phone who has refused to give me a full refund and I have therefore lost money. So in essence - I have paid for your and her mistakes. I am truly disheartened by this as I love your products and think it is a true shame that spending money on a made to measure saddle has resulted in this. I?ve had appalling customer service on top of an ill fitted saddle which has caused discomfort to my horse. From August to now, the best part of 9 months, I have had ongoing issues despite paying a significant amount of money for what should have been a bespoke saddle. For me to now be out of pocket and without a saddle I think is very unprofessional. There has been no accountability from Yourselves to my knowledge from Rebecca, or from Rebecca herself. I was willing to put aside that the colours were incorrect and I wasn?t really fond of the saddle based upon the fact that it was supposed to be custom made to my horse. When in fact, it crippled his back.From a consumer who was willing to use your products now and in the future I think the issue needs to be addressed and some accountability for the errors made.

Excellent service. Just love my new ideal dressage saddle . So does my horse . Bespoke saddle of high quality at a very reasonable price x
