It looks like Bristol Water have sold their customer database to HomeServe as I'm now receiving junk through the postDon't use HomeServe, they are just going to bleed money out of you and mess you around when you call on their services. You're better off putting £10 every month into a separate interest bearing bank account and use this if/when you have a problem

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been paying £28/month since 2017. Accumulating to £2300ish. I today had boiler issues, after being sent in circles for 1hr I was told that my policy is not covered for my issue which is an L2 error code on a combi boiler. How can they be so sure not even send an engineer out to check? £28/month is higher than any policy on their website so what was I covered for if not everything?Abismal service and attitude of Teah the rep I was speaking to.

My boiler has an urgent issue. I called Homeserve to claim it but they said that my house didn't check boiler while I have an appointment by email and a guy came to check it many months ago and gave me the evidence of checking. Homeserve told me that they didn't know and didn't send a guy come to my property at all, and they are British gas who checked for free while I have two evidences from Homeserve. See how ridiculous and unprofessional they are. Accordingly, my boiler cannot fix and I have paid monthly for many months with unclaimed service. How they run business and take your money.

It used to be that the company could tell you roughly when a rep would be attending the property - now its a 10 hour window with out a message to tell you approximately when he/she will attend. With all the technology available its pretty shoddy that the customer needs to be home for ten hours waiting. Constantly covering themselves with "as the policy states we couldn't advise you today what time exactly"

A company with a callous disregard for the environment. Have asked many times for them to stop contacting me with this nonsense. Would expect nothing more from a company who treats employees so poorly. Avoid.

Absolutely dreadful. They promised to come to unblock and outside drain. Didn?t come Tuesday, 9th but promised first call on Thursday 11th January at 8am. It is now nearly 5pm and still not here. Have phoned to London office and head office in Walsall. Please never use them if you value your time and money.

Avoid. Having been an Aga Care Plan for 12 years I received a letter on 18th October from Homeserve saying they were cancelling my Aga policy as of the 17th November so I cancelled the direct debit on 2nd November to make sure no extra payments were made. Now saying I'm not covered on 9th November as I cancelled the direct debit. Apparently, the next payment was due 15th November. None of which was explained in their termination letter. Person on phone was very blunt. All very unnecessary but lesson learnt I won't deal with this company again. Once bitten.

Tried to give them a one off job today. Have the feeling they are trying to hide to true cost of the job and therefore I did not proceed. The guy I spoke to seemed to rush through his ?script?.They seem obsessed with trying to sell service contracts.

Worst company to ever deal with!I had a leaking pipe under the floor, 1st engineer said dig it up and replace it, don?t got above ground it will look awful. Latest engineer tries to go above ground and then moans about my decision to his colleague in front of my Ring door bell that I want to go below ground, saying how it will just break again and they?ll have to come out. That?s really reassuring!!! Don?t get me started on the call centres!!!!! Full of false hope there! Cancelled my policy and now with British gas, save yourself the pain and just go elsewhere for homeserve plumbing/drain insurance !!!!

Terrible customer service. Bad communication between departments. Charged me £100 excess telling me we had dangerous gas escaping and needed a repair. Sent a different engineer to carry out the work, who said there was absolutely nothing wrong with our boiler. No repair or work needed. Homeserve would not refund the £100 excess as the second engineer had entered our property!

We have been let down multiple times,we have a blocked drain, called home serve they sent out a guy,who put rods down one drain and plunged the other one, since then the one that was plunged, a week later was blocked altogether,we called your help people and they sent out the same guy,who after looking at it with a camera said it needs jetting but he?s doesn?t work, allegedly he?s told the company numerous times and he still has a jet cleaner not functioning,so we called up again, and we was told someone would be out between 8-1 no one turned up,no one called us it was us that called them,so now it?s getting frustrating as yet another day taken off work and still problem is there and not really addressed,so got a reschedule date today another day off work waiting as time was between 8-1,again no show no calls nothing, phoned up to enquire what was actually happening,to be transferred to the drainage department, where the conversation that was being held was with a chap who ignorance went before him constantly over talking and what would be considered as being condescending, after he hanged the phone up without even addressing the issue, professional? Not a chance, understanding the frustration Not at all,people/costumer?s skills? Needs more training, do you think all the above is acceptable ?? We now have yet another date, here?s hoping that will be a bit more positive Kind regards

Charged for 2 amounts of excess for 2 jobs that theyre sending out 1 engineer for (both jobs are exactly the same issue).Take a day off work to stay in for the call out to be between 0800-1800, for a call at 1530 to say they are no longer coming because the engineer is stuck on another call. Re-booked in for the following day. Also received another call at the same time with a voicemail and text message to say they had booked our slot to be 2 days later. Terrible customer service for the amount they are charging customers.
