Visited last Thursday for lunch. Arrived around 12.30. The restaurant was fairly quiet with a few tables of people around us. We were warmly welcomed and seated quickly. Ordered the ultimate mixed grill and the barbacoa burger which then comes with the salad bar starter. The salad was fresh as always and completely stocked. Always enjoy the salad starter from Harvester, great idea. We did have an issue with the main which arrived not hot but I must admit the restaurant immediately rectified and provided fresh new meals. The meals were of fantastic quality. All of the mixed grill meats were cooked and seasoned perfectly, no fatty cheap cuts and all tender and moist. The burger as all the harvester burgers are, are delicious, maybe on the pricey side but you are always guaranteed enjoyment. The restaurant even adjusted the bill for the food issue which wasn't expected but was a welcome end to a nice meal out

Booked here for my son?s 5th birthday party, and it couldn?t have gone better. From start to finish, Cortnie and Amietook care of everything and the kids all had a great time. It included party bags food, juice and a yummy cake, which saved me even more time and effort and was great value for money!

We were shown to our table and drinks order taken quickly, after we ordered food it arrived quickly and was lovely, the place was really busy and we didn't have to wait long to place our order or receive our food, well done to all involved
Vegetarian options: I'm vegan and there were a couple of things to choose from, I think they could do with adding another option both main course and dessert
Kid-friendliness: My granddaughters were openly welcomed and staff chatted with them when they came to the table

Had a family birthday meal here tonight absolutely amazing ? Beth our waitress was so friendly and polite also thanks to Vicky who was equally as so who served our food, nothing was too much trouble . Thanks to Phil the chef the food was fabulous and even though we were a large group all of the food came out together. It was lovely atmosphere and very clean,Would definitely recommend and will be going again soon ??

Where do I start? Ordered 2 pints of Carling, tasted of washing up liquid, they were changed no problems. Every time I went to the bar numerous staff behind it but not one of them wanted to serve, too busy talking. Food was dry, chicken in particular was awful, ribs were dry too, not sure how you can have dry ribs with all the sauce that is on them? mixed grill's were rubbish, again dry chicken, bought it home for my cat and he wouldn't eat it. Chips tasted of onions so had obviously been cooked with the onion rings in in the same pan after onion rings had been in it. Ordered 4 sides to come with main course and we had finished our mains by the time they came out. Kids had ice cream sundaes and waffles, Ice cream was Aldi special, and the waffle had lumps of sugar in instead of a sprinkling of sugar, the lady serving the puddings just dumped the tray of ice cream sundaes on the table, dropped the spoons and the tray and went. Service was very poor, 2 mixed grills came out and the bloke serving them had no idea which was well done and which was medium, he put them on the table and went to find out, came back and said one in his right hand was well done ...... We had no idea which one was in his right hand but he took that long finding out we cut open the meat to find out for ourselves. I can honestly say I was disgusted with the whole experience, we went with others and they too were disgusted at the service and the food quality. Best part of the whole night was leaving to come home. I will never again set foot in this particular Harvester and will think twice about going to any Harvester after this experience. My view, go elsewhere or find food in a bin as it will be much nicer.

Been to the Harvester tonight and served by Vicki she was very welcoming and pleasant. She was very attentive and the food was great! Good visit.
Parking: No child bays but lots of parking.

We were served by Beth, a really nice young lady and a fab steak, ribs and fish chef named Phil.
It was a lovely atmosphere and we had a relaxed time out until we had to go out into the cold January night

very poor menu choice, waited till we had sat down and looked at menu, upon ordering told there were no half chicken , having looked at the menu and reordered told there were no quarter chicken either, no alternative offered. ordered halloumi skewers to be then told that there was not enough onion available to put on the skewer.
