Disappointed is an understatement.Rooms: Definitely not as listed. Stained bedding and carpets. Cracked bathroom floor tile. Mould, the list goes on. Needs a complete makeover.

Ok ?. Driving past this hotel ( I missed it the first time) it does look like it is boarded up and closed down, however, some parts of the hotel are undergoing a refurb which is needed to bring it up to date. Room large and fully functional and breakfast included in the price I paid so for the cost it?s very good value. The real gem here are the staff ! They truly do go the extra mile to ensure you are looked after. I?m at the hotel due to a bereavement and can honestly say I am blown away by their kindness ?. The hotel will be fabulous once refurb complete and hard to beat ? the staff are clearly very passionate about making a real difference and will make this place a hidden gem in the Midlands once the exterior is brought up to date?.,

Massive carpark, the outside looks really worn down and unkept. It used to be a murcure hotelI arrived around 11.30pm due to hold up on the M6. No one on reception waited around 10 mins before someone came downThe reception is on the side of the building which looks like it use to be a bar lots of clutter and a drawer marked up as refund notes doesn't really give me confidence in the hotel !My room was up a few flights of stairs (305)The room was a good size as was the bathroom.Bed was comfortable enough pillows not so muchLots of stains on the walls which a good clean or repaint would soon resolveWiFi excellentShower head didn't work and the bath was under a slope really bad design fault !Breakfast not includedLocation is in a industrial area next to a canalWould probably use again but in a different room.

We returned to this hotel after 3 years, because the first time we loved the attention, the rooms, cleanliness and its restaurant. Now the attention is zero (unpleasant and with no intention of trying to communicate with you), the restaurant does not exist and the rooms are the only thing that is saved.

Was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The reception wasn't the best on arrival. The room was dirty and disgusting, I couldn't even have a cup of tea in the room as the kettle was vile the tv was something from the 80's and didn't even work, when you pulled out the draw I thought it was going to fall out, one of the bedside lights was like a disco light. I didn't want to take a shower as I would have probably cleaned it just by washing myself, I have enclosed some real pictures of my room, not the lovely ones they put on their advertising.Rooms: Worn down and dilapidated.

I would just like to say regarding Dan Tully's stay at barons court...it was the worst situation he's ever been in...dan has a severe brain damage and a very vulnerable person..his ex partner Toni joines told him to go there as it's supposed to be a calm and relaxing place for his mental health...that was not the case...i have known Dan a while and he has always been truthful and doesn't lie...he had to leave that night and sleep in his car in minus degrees temperature...and the reason for that was he was sitting having a drink next minute some black man planted drugs in his pocket...he tried to tell the manager but he didn't want to know so Dan called the police..they did not turn up...dan didn't feel safe there so walked out...his belongings were still there ...i rang them and there version was different saying he was getting irate...well I would if that happened to me plus brain damage...i went the next day to pick his stuff up and outside by the entrance were 3 youth's smoking drugs the smell was vile...i tried to talk to the manager but he didn't want to know...so I left ...i blame Toni joines for this as she knew what she was doing....this place is a serious drug den...and I'd advise people not to stay there especially vulnerable people....the papers are being informed about this also I have tried to get his money back for the other 4 nights he'd paid for £240 but again no refund....this will come out....Regards Beena kelly...Rooms: Ok it was a room..Noteworthy details: The room was ok....

Ok so what you see on line is definitely not what you get. Reception where lovely very helpful, on arrival was scared as looks and feel very rough and run down. Extremely out dated. First room given was disgusting green out dated bathroom, filthy dirty room with stains on walls and skirting boards. Rang reception and the man was happy to change it. Second room ok was clean but again very outdated not what you would expect at all. Bath water was hot however shower was dismal, it felt like a hotel that houses the homeless, which is a shame really as it has potential to be something better, to be fair we only stayed few hours as far to noisy doors constantly banging. On the plus side the room was warm and tidy and staff where friendly and helpful. But I Wouldn't recommend it at that price for 59 pounds per night. This hotel needs a complete makeover and some updated carpets and bathrooms. I'd also recommend aiming at better clientele as if you have paying customers they have the right to feel safe.

Omg what a shock when you arrive it appears the hotel has closed down then there are signs which lead you round the side as only part of the hotel is open. The website photos are not a reflection of the current state, it is in need of a total refurbishment. Rooms are not clean in appearance as they ae2 so desperately in need of a refurbishment. There is no food available in an evening ita just breakfast, again not what i thought id booked. As a single female business traveller i would not recommend staying here. The reception lady as lovely and very helpful.Noteworthy details: It's the worse hotel I have stayed umat in 14 years of working nationally and staying hotels at least 2 to 3 times a week

Absolutely so bloody happy this is a dog friendly hotel!! We are here right now !! The guy at reception is so lovely helpful and polite!! Our room is comfortable, we have shower and bath. It's not cold at all we are absolutely roasting !!Enough towels, coffee milk etc and more available!!It Needs a deep clean,Can't open window,Are all I have to say about flaws..I will absolutely stay again !! We've been made so welcome, and the Christmas Dec's are lovely.I suggest trying this for urself it was a last minute book for us and the price was fair!!If the dog is happy we are happy.Ohh and our TV works we have full signal watching Harry Potter.Seen no illegal immigration here.Frankly I was horrified with the comments it was the fact is was dog friendly and they don't exist anymore that had us here, please do not be put off till uve been urself!! Some of us still want dog friendly hotels and places. Glad we come.

This place was a special place to stay or visit (disco's functions, etc ) when i was younger. It looks so run down nowadays

Outside and surrounding area is very run down. The rooms are dated and shower was not running at a consistent temp. Bed and linen were clean and very comfortable, can get a bit noisy with the creaky floors. For less than 45 pounds a night, can't really complain much.

Walls are very thing so you can hear EVERYTHING, beds were alright, walls need a bit of a clean, service was nice though, looks a bit run down but other than that it's
