I buy from Argos regularly and have done for 20+ years. The most recent time I purchased a clothes airer, took it home, opening it as carefully as possible. Unfortunately it was very flimsy and wouldn't hold a pair of jeans. I ordered an alternative, repackaged the old one and took it back to return as I collected the new one. I was met by Lou who had zero customer service skills. She told me it wasn't in its original packaging (it actually was) nor in a resaleable condition. I told her it wasn't fit for purpose, as I expect it to be able to at least hang 1 load on it. The manager Amy then said its not 'try before you buy', both of them were extremely dismissive, borderline rude. I understand its not 'try before you buy' however with the Argos model you are unable to see the products' durability prior to buying. I was left with a flimsy airer thats of no use. I'd much rather use a different branch, where you dint have to pay for parking.

I would have given this no stars. My mum who's a pensioner, ordered and paid for a TV obviously it was going to be too heavy for her to carry and I had already arranged to pick it up as I'm only 10mins away. Simon who served her said we cannot hold this as we are not a warehouse, so deleted the order and keyed it back in with delivery added even though my mum explained that I would collect in my car. So going back to the comment 'this is not a warehouse' is a little confusing as I ordered something from the Bilston Argos not only did they hold my parcels because apparently I arrived late and l couldn't go and collect item around the back or let me use a trolley (I was told their not insured and to use a trolley from Iceland store across from them) and my car was five minutes away so they held items.I was going to order a fridge freezer also washing machine from yourselves for my mum but have ordered them from Currys. In the past Argos was always my go to but not now, I have a Argos £50 voucher that I really do not want to use now.

This store is fine, Downside is parking cost for a 5-10 minute visit but that?s nothing to do with the store. Service for collection can be quicker like the Reedswood store inside sainsburys with free parking.

Useless store. They never have anything in stock. Like why even advertise offers if there's nothing in stock??

Would give it a 0 star if it was an optionSo I brought a vacuum about 5-6 months ago, ok mid price but still this is the fourth time I?ve return it because it?s not suitable for my needs and keeps breakingSo before popping into work, I went back to shop with the new hoover that had been replaced to ask if thier was a better one that would suit my needsBut didn?t even to to the till before I was humiliated and spoke about to other members of the team while they were ALL servicing customers BAD STAFF straight awaySo I approach the queue while three girls where serving and the one at middle checkout on 1/11/23 go to the left and whispers something then to the right as whispers something all 3 of them looking at meI felt like a public humiliationDemonstration at a circus never felt so bad and down trodden like dirtI have used Argos for many many many many yearsAnd tbh I?m not upset with Argos but the only the manager and team at Walsall branchNot gonna go on cause i will write and essayBut I?m really rethinking my shopping choice

bad service today. A guy this afternoon served me , he didnt let me scan my Nectar card and spoke to me with attitude "it is sorted". He thought customers are stupid. Never get back to Argos in Walsall again. They are used to be nice, but not anymore.

I bought an Apple Pencil from Argos a couple of days ago to find out it was used? The terrible packaging had dents and blemishes on it and usual Apple products have sleek packaging on it which the pencil did not have, such an expensive item and being given an opened item. Massive scam?.Argos clearly needs to improve, will not be buying from Argos Walsall again. Luckily returns were accepted but will never trust them again.

they were being so racist to us and unfair. if you are a poc be careful when you go in, they like to make you feel very disrespected and are very rude. they make you feel small as well. just from my experience and are lazy in their work, they have a lack of respect for poc people and cannot do their job properly.

I am writing to complain about the behaviour of your duty manager, Vicky. I recently went to return an item, and I found her to be extremely rude and unhelpful.I explained to Vicky that I had misplaced my receipt and had paid for the item using my Argos card. However, she was very dismissive and demanded that I produce the receipt. When I showed her the information on the Argos website that confirms that I can provide a confirmation email, bank statement, or order number, she disregarded it.I then contacted Argos customer service, and they advised me to present my Argos card statement to Vicky. However, Vicky insisted that I could only receive a refund with the receipt. When I tried to redirect her, she became insulting, and it was pretty apparent that she was on a power trip.Vicky is not well trained on the refund procedure, which is unacceptable. As a customer, I expect your staff to know your policies and procedures. After standing my ground and arguing with Vicky for some time, she finally agreed to refund the item. However, I found it very unprofessional and unhelpful of her to refuse my refund in the first place, especially when there was information on your website that supported my claim. Additionally, how Vicky treated me during the encounter was very disappointing. Her poor attitude, ignorance, and lack of customer service skills were very frustrating.Argos, please provide training to your staff regarding the refund policies and procedures so that your employees are better equipped to handle customers' issues more professionally.I expect exceptional service from Argos, and the behaviour exhibited by Vicky did not meet those expectations.

Absolutely vile I had a kettle that was under 1 year but refused to exchange as the manager Andrzej said it was in poor state. I explained that the kettle had a fault and it was nothing to do with that state.Andrzej, behaviour, temperament and rudeness personified a lack of respect. I will be complaining to head office. I have refused to give my money to them I would rather go to curry?s.Also the attitude of a burly tall woman: I think her name is Sue was very rude. She strolled with an enigma that wasn?t matched by her professionalism. God knows how andrzej became the manager there.
