i was brought here for my birthday and I must say, as an American, this is spot on. The brisket and Memphis style ribs were hands down better than places back Home. The seasoning was excellent and the grape soda was delicious as well. The service was outstanding and quick. Overall I'd give it a 9/10 only issue was a couple pieces of the share platter were a bit dry but as an avid home smoker I understand cuts towards the edge can dry up. the seasoning/sauce box set will be a great addition to my seasonings!

Just wanted to take some time to share our experience at Hickory's Smokehouse Wall Heath for Brunch with Santa today.
From the moment I made the booking (they were very accommodating to our large party and super responsive), to the moment we walked through the door in absolute awe of the decor, the lights, the beautiful Christmassy vibe and the hospitality we experienced from every single member of staff. They made the whole thing an experience, with entertainment for the kids in the form of festive films and little dancing shows put on by the elves, as well as elves walking around giving kids a little christmas magic with glitter being brushed on their hair or nail varnish on their nails, giving little gifts here and there and just genuinely being lovely and genuine- it made us feel like we were somewhere else, right in the north pole even. The main man walked around a couple of times waving and smiling at the kids eating at their tables, and then when it was our turn to see him, the kids could make up little bags of hot chocolate and marshmallows and reindeer food to take home whilst waiting. Santa was unreal. So kind, so genuine, and your visit was not rushed at all. He gave all kids a little pack with 'cookies made by mrs claus' as a present (very good quality chocs) and wished us well. We were very impressed by all the little touches by the staff, it was incredibly well organised despite it being so busy, and the food of course was great as usual.
I'd recommend this place for anyone around the area looking for brunch with Santa next year. We will be doing it again next year for sure. Thanks Hickory's! Xx

What an absolute amazing night we had last night for our sons 18th birthday. The food here is out of this world but it?s made all the more amazing by the atmosphere and staff that make your night incredible. Not only did they bring our son a birthday doughnut with a big sparkling firework like candle they also got him up to make his own cocktail behind the bar, how many places do you get that sort of star treatment in? Our waiter was Tom and all I?ll say is if you?re not served by him then I?m sorry!!!! Because he is the funniest most pleasant guy I have ever met, he needs his own show. Tom I hope you get to see this review and know how amazing you are. Thank you hickory?s for making our sons 18th extra special.

I cannot rate Ameila highly enough. We had a table of 12 for my husband?s birthday and she went above and beyond to help us have the best time! She is simply a phenomenal waitress in all areas and is an absolute credit to the company and her family! The food was fab as always but Ameila simply made the afternoon perfect. Thank you again!

What an amazing restaurant really enjoyed coming here. Staff were really friendly and service was good. Menu was very good lots to choose from and plenty of choice. Food was delicious and pipping hot. Really enjoyed toasting marshmallows as our dessert too. The added cinema room was a great little addition.

A great place for a family meal, staff made us feel very welcome and kept checking with us that everything was good, we had a variety of food and not one complaint.

Went for a Sunday morning breakfast with my wife. Ordered a full English breakfast look d great unfortunately it was spiced with a Chili powder that for me was inedible. Who wants spice for breakfast. Definitely not is the southern stats of the USA. STEAK EGS AND HUSHPUPPYS ARE THE NORM

Visited for my 69th Birthday with family. The food was excellent. It all arrived piping hot, and plenty of it. The portions were just right, much more and I would have struggled to eat it all. Beats ordinary pub grub. I personally had the chicken and smoked maple bacon waffle with maple syrup. WOW, what a taste. Would highly recommend a visit. The staff were brilliant, and very friendly. They even bought me out a cake and sang Happy Birthday. Thank you to all of them and my family, it made my day special.

Came here for a friends birthday, and absolutely loved every minute! Food is unreal and left me very full ( i still managed to take some home). I had a milkshake that was the nicest one i?ve ever had, and the mac and cheese is like nothing i?ve had before Absolutely amazing ! will definitely be returning

Very busy when we arrived. Music is far too loud for a restaurant! Its not a night club. We met to catch up, but as someone who has hearing issues, I really struggled. The waiter couldn't have been less interested if he tried. Plus side the food was lovely. We had a platter to share, and there was plenty of food and tasty. Have been to several hickorys but won't rush back to this one due to music and staff that served us.

First time visit , party of 4 celebrating a birthday had sharing platters , absolutely fantastic value and quality and service . Lovely clean space , spacious tables and a nice relaxed atmosphere. The food mains had so many different elements all cooked perfect and presented beautiful The deserts are to die for !!!

Excellent service throughout. Thank you so much to all the staff who were attentive and professional. Food was excellent and waiting time was exactly what you?d expect. Prices were inline with what you would expect but the quality and presentation of the food made it for me extreme value for money. We booked because it was my sons birthday, as we left the car park was filling up which is always a good sign for me. Highly recommend and I will certainly tell my friends and will be returning! Great place ??
