Went to pick up a click &collect. One person serving. Waited 15 minutes in the queue. They blamed it on the Xmas rush. Not sure what was the issue in October when I had the same experience. Won't be using this service again at WH smith.

Why does this place still exist?
Don't bother if you can help it.
I had to go in to collect an M&S order.
The experience was painful. They clearly lack staff and half of those I could see did not seem to be doing very much.

Terrible store to shop in now only one person on the till big queues all the time and self service tills that nobody uses the store has really gone downhill

Hi don't know what has happened to wh smith in sutton coldfield I member of staff ontje only open till we do t want sel serve we want staff tried to claim lottery winnings being as they have a post office on site was informed don't payout on larger prices ridiculous to behoves the whole store needs a major update and refurbishmentI

I can hardly believe that you have this horrible and cruel Christmas card on sale in smiths. Especially as sainsbury were forced (by public opinion) to take it off the shelves.I'm unable to post a photo but have shared it on my fb page.It's the on that mocks the poor pigs by alluding to blankets. Not a bit funny.Don't be like sainsbury.

I recently witnessed long queues in this store - some people in this queue were finding it physically hard to stand waiting. Why would any shop actively arrange for such poor customer service ? Because WHS management want to ?encourage,? in truth MAKE, customers scan their purchases.The only member of staff on the one open till was kind, compassionate and apologetic but clearly under pressure.Clearly no duty of care exercised towards her either.Yes I spoke to the manager who said he couldn?t change things either -Regrettably time for us to find another shop where good customer service wins over profit.
